It's a very small store, but is efficient. I would normally be freaked out about being in small stores during Covid-times, but this one was designed perfectly and just enough space. Lot's of self-check machines....no cash accepted. But they do accept American credit cards (boooo) and American debit cards (yaaaay)! It's an Albert Heijn "To Go" so kind of a different brand under the original AH. They are a little bit more expensive, but no worries on that, since it's very minor and you pay for the convenience. I love how they dedicate so much shelf space to the european beers and wine here as well. They understand their target market. This is the far east tunnel of Centraal Station - one of the busiest.

The store is on the smaller side, but they still offered a great variety of products. They had a nice selection of produce, grab and go items like salads and sandwiches, bottled drinks, etc. The store was extremely clean and organized as well. I visited the store a few times during my stay. The staff was always very nice and friendly. My Visa card wouldn't work at the self checkout register so I had to go to the main register. Make sure to bring a bag if you're buying more items than you can carry. If you need a bag, they will charge a small fee (something like €0,25). Also, don't forget your receipt! You will need to scan it in order to exit the store.

Overall found it very well laid out and with spacious aisles. In fact, I think this Albert Heijn might be the largest one I have been to in Amsterdam as their stock included stuff like candles and kids games, items I haven't seen at other Albert Heijn stores previously. This store also had food samplings!! It was different types of dips with little breadsticks, and again this was something I have not encountered at other Albert Heijn's.
