I was able to roll (literally a snails pace) off of the next exit of the freeway and pull over. My insurance towing company was going to take hours to get to us and I didn't know what was going on with my car. I didn't want to risk anything more happening to it or my son and I. I Googled auto repair shops nearby and called Westside. Teresa answered the phone and said that they could get to me and tow my car to their location within 15 minutes. Granted, I am not very direction savvy and yet Jon still found us and rescued my son and I. When we got to the shop, they had legos for my son to play with, gave him a popsicle and Teresa waited with us and until my parents were able to come and pick us up. Their honesty, kindness and understanding was so admirable and just what I needed in that moment. I truly believe that God put Teresa and Jon (and Nathan) in this situation because adding a toddler into an already stress and panicky situation, they were the perfect people/company for the job. Jon was able to tow my car to the dealership the next morning. I honestly cannot thank them enough for their help. I was a stranger, am a single mom and the love that they showed us was such an experience. They will forever hold a place in my heart and I will forever thank God for them. Teresa made us feel at home and let my son completely take over her office with blankets, legos and noise. Nathan and Jon were very thoughtful and considerate of my situation as well as helping me feel safe and validated. I HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone and everyone! They are heroes and I will forever be thankful for what they did for my son and I on that scary and stressful day.

My dad spent almost $1000 dollars the first time when they called and said it was ready. I drove it back home and immediately felt that it was worse than what it was before. Took it back and they said nothing was wrong with it. I knew the tow truck driver and told him to ride with me and he noticed when we pulled out of the parking lot it was not fixed. They charged my dad another $400 dollars to get what was broke fixed! Seems to me like they gauge money out of your pocket.

When we left Jason gave me a watermelon and some fresh veggies from his garden because I had been telling him that I loved stopping at farmers markets along the way! So nice! Anyway, the lady was very helpful on the phone and gave me a quote of $132, but when the guy showed up he said it was $185. I had a appointment at Hubbard to get my transmission programmed, so we paid the guy that said amount. The Towing guy was rude, lazy and unprofessional. He hooked up my truck to the tow bar and strapped it down, with the extra strap he was going to put it in my passager side door, but it was locked. Instead of using the key to unlock the door, he wrapped the strap around my antenna. Needless to say, by the time my truck got to Hubbard I had no antenna, a dent in the quarter panel and paint was removed from my quarter panel because of the strap. I contacted their claim guy who looked at my truck and said they would fix the issues, but after our conversation he hasn't returned my call. Oh and I let them know that they're still using Mikels Towing on the internet...isn't that false advertising? Using Mikels reviews as theirs!!! Just a heads up...make sure you get who you call.

Funny but a state trooper passed me as I was sitting there with my flashers on but did not stop. They finally call back to tell me it will cost me 245 and I can get it at noon the next day or Monday and it would be the same cost. I told her to tell the rude man I spoke with a few choice words and all the sudden he chimes in because he had been listening on the phone the entire time. He calls me back because I hung up on him but I hung up on him again because he tells me I can't get my van until Monday because of how I talked to him. This is very unprofessional behavior and he has no business being in or working at any business.
