As I parked the car & looked at my destination, I wasn't going to be fooled by first impressions; everyone knows first impressions can be deceiving. Confucius says "Only a fool ignores First Impressions" As we reached the door a Young Chinese girl left carrying a couple of bags of food. Now this was a real positive sign, remembering the well established rule to always buy Indian where the Indians eat, Italian where the Italian eat & Chinese where the Chinese eat... Confucius says "Never assume Girl leaving with food is customer & not delivery girl" The Menu is well presented & the choice comprehensive with a Singapore twist. We ordered two starters & three main courses. The wait was broken by short walk to the ATM as they don't take cards. On our return the Counter area was quite busy with around four people waiting on orders. Everyone knows that the good places become popular & always have a bit of a queue... right? Confucius says "Full shop can be due to quality or more often slow & poor service" My Partner didn't want Ribs covered in Sauce, so I asked if I could get the Ribs without any Sauce. This took sometime as the women taking the order didn't have the worlds best grasp of the English language, the summary being; Me: Do you have any Ribs that don't come with a thick sauce Authentic Looking Chinese Women: Ribs? Yes! Me: Yes, Ribs. But I don't want sauce, Dry Ribs Alcw: Ribs! Yes. Dry Yes. Me: Okay Good. I didn't let the small language barrier put me off as everyone knows the best place to eat Chinese is where it is cooked by native Chinese. I was looking forward to this. Confucius says "Only Idiots believe that crap!" The starters were poor & the main courses very dry & overcooked. One bad meal I would put down to a bad choice from the menu, but three people all getting a poor meal & not one offering anything positive?. Of course, there's always the other possibility that it was entirely my fault as my dry ribs order was taken for the entire meal? Going Back? When Hell freezes over? No! Not even then.

I usually have the korma which I would rate as good as any other Korma Ive had or better. The naan bread is absolutely delicious and ccoked to perfection. My friend had chips from here and I didnt think they were very good. Nowhere near as nice as the chips from the chinese or the chipper. But then again, who would want chips with an indian meal (apart from my friend??) Delivery available also.

I have not been disappointed with any dish Ive ever had from here, and I've had lots!! The takeaway is situated next to a Somerfield Express if you need to pick up any drink to go with your meal. There is also a cash machine outside the takeaway. Phone in your order ahead, there is usually about a 20 minute wait for it. If you have a sweet tooth go for their banana fritters - they are gorgeous!!
