I let them know I had some new panels that could be used on the roof which they hauled away and did not use. Then they put the same kind of panels on the roof and charged full bore price for them. There was no credit for the new panels they hauled away. The inspection was poorly done or they planned to do cost overruns all along. They ripped into the roof and then called and said it would be more than their bid. It was raining every other day so it was impossible to leave the roof open and find someone else. Since I was receiving medical treatment and they knew it I was unable to inspect that the work they claimed had been done. Then when they were done they didn´t inform us but just debited my account and claimed they couldn´t contact me. It is interesting they were able to contact me easily before that time. There was no credit given for the new panels they hauled away and Kimball claimed they were too short. Previous work had required the same size panels and these were so long. Apparently the panels shrink according to what Kimball said. They don´t shrink but that is the only way his statement could be true. He said he was going to return them but didn´t. Kimball has responded but does not address the real issues. As seems normal only half truths. I did complain to CPS of Utah and they told me that in this case I would have to sue since they are a mediation service and Kimball is not interested in mediation.

You definitely get what you pay for! Before K Designers showed up at our home I did a ton of research and found out some of companies we got quotes from didn't even have a valid business license. When we made the appointment with K Designers, I have to admit I was a little apprehensive because of some of the bad reviews I read.. but I knew they have been in business for 30+ years and they have an A+ on the BBB. Our salesman showed up on time with a smile. After speaking with him for a little while, we instantly felt comfortable with him. He spent a lot of time making sure we knew all about their products and their company. After-all, those are the most important things to me when making a large purchase like this. He also was interested in hearing about us and what we were looking for. He was very polite and thorough, he walked around the outside and the inside of the house with us and educated us on things we've never thought about. He brought in his products and showed us how efficient and how strong they were. He used a hot heat lamp to show us how no heat gets through the glass on their windows. He used his temperature gun to show us differences. He also punched the crap out of the siding to show us how it wouldn't dent like our old aluminum siding has. We saw before and after pictures and more.. Like I said, he was very thorough! None of the other companies did any of these things. They just gave their quote and were on their way. Their prices were a little higher than I was expecting, but after seeing all of what I saw and hearing about their lifetime warranty, I could see how it made sense to pay a little more! Now that everything is installed I'm so glad we made the choice we did. It's all really beautiful and we love coming home it! I would definitely recommend K-Designers when buying windows and siding for your home.

Super unprofessional…read more Had an appointment set for 2 p.m. They failed to tell me there was a 30 min window, which i was told at 2:30. I was then told that they could not make it and wanted to reschedule. I declined the offer of another appointment as I had 4 more scheduled over the next few days. Guy on the phone tried to talk me into another appointment offering 50% off install, I would get the most amazing quote if I gave them another chance etc.. I declined another appointment multiple times, stating that in my experience this is the start of a downhill slope. Declined one final time and left it at that. My 85 year old mother calls me the same evening saying someone just showed up at 6 p.m. and she lets this guy in, WITHOUT ME THERE, which they had stated that we both had to be there, and goes into her house and looks at bathroom and then tells her that all the walls need replaced, and gives her a quote of 12,000 to do a tub to walk in conversion. Thats the amazing quote??? Moral of the story, without my consent, after declining another appt over and over, they proceed anyway and push their way into my 85 year old mothers house. They thought this was going to get my buisness? I have no clue who, or why this person is in my mothers house, again without my consent, and without me there. Horrible tactics. If they thought this was a way to get my business they were sorely mistaken.

The options they brought to the table were endless and rather inspiring. After a handful of choices, we decided on all new Pella windows, Hardie and steel siding, stone accents and some really good looking raingutter. They even ended up blowing in new insulation in a number of exterior walls. All the installers were amazing to work with and it was very comforting to know we could trust them with access to our home while we were away. We did experience some material delays during the process, but we regularly face supply issues in our own business and realize this was not a reflection of their company but rather the current state of our economy.
