I let them know I had some new panels that could be used on the roof which they hauled away and did not use. Then they put the same kind of panels on the roof and charged full bore price for them. There was no credit for the new panels they hauled away. The inspection was poorly done or they planned to do cost overruns all along. They ripped into the roof and then called and said it would be more than their bid. It was raining every other day so it was impossible to leave the roof open and find someone else. Since I was receiving medical treatment and they knew it I was unable to inspect that the work they claimed had been done. Then when they were done they didn´t inform us but just debited my account and claimed they couldn´t contact me. It is interesting they were able to contact me easily before that time. There was no credit given for the new panels they hauled away and Kimball claimed they were too short. Previous work had required the same size panels and these were so long. Apparently the panels shrink according to what Kimball said. They don´t shrink but that is the only way his statement could be true. He said he was going to return them but didn´t. Kimball has responded but does not address the real issues. As seems normal only half truths. I did complain to CPS of Utah and they told me that in this case I would have to sue since they are a mediation service and Kimball is not interested in mediation.

I was then told that they could not make it and wanted to reschedule. I declined the offer of another appointment as I had 4 more scheduled over the next few days. Guy on the phone tried to talk me into another appointment offering 50% off install, I would get the most amazing quote if I gave them another chance etc.. I declined another appointment multiple times, stating that in my experience this is the start of a downhill slope. Declined one final time and left it at that. My 85 year old mother calls me the same evening saying someone just showed up at 6 p.m. and she lets this guy in, WITHOUT ME THERE, which they had stated that we both had to be there, and goes into her house and looks at bathroom and then tells her that all the walls need replaced, and gives her a quote of 12,000 to do a tub to walk in conversion. Thats the amazing quote??? Moral of the story, without my consent, after declining another appt over and over, they proceed anyway and push their way into my 85 year old mothers house. They thought this was going to get my buisness? I have no clue who, or why this person is in my mothers house, again without my consent, and without me there. Horrible tactics. The initial consultation took almost three weeks to transpire, mainly due to our primary residence being in another state. But they were more than accommodating to our hectic schedule, which even included their salesman being willing to meet with my husband at 6:00 in the morning! The options they brought to the table were endless and rather inspiring. After a handful of choices, we decided on all new Pella windows, Hardie and steel siding, stone accents and some really good looking raingutter. They even ended up blowing in new insulation in a number of exterior walls. All the installers were amazing to work with and it was very comforting to know we could trust them with access to our home while we were away. We did experience some material delays during the process, but we regularly face supply issues in our own business and realize this was not a reflection of their company but rather the current state of our economy.
