This is an experienced company operating in Brigantine for 30+ years…read more Like many they have been effected by a shortage of qualified workers and an overload of service requests in the busy summer season If you have a plumbing issue in the summer months that requires immediate attention they cannot always get to you fast enough They do HVAC and plumbing service and repair both. Look for a plumbing only contractor for plumbing need's especially urgent ones. It is just the reality of the business in the summer months The other fact is that because they have so many loyal customers with long term relationships they will prioritize those folks over new customers. Same priority is given to year round residents vs rental vacation home owners.

Installed the new unit, it leaked, he came couple days later and "fixed the leak". Two months later I have over $20,000 of interior water and MOLD damage from a water leak that was leaking down inside my interior wallfrom that SAME condensation line that was done incorrectly twice. His exact words were "it's Your problem now not mine" Also said it was my fault because I should be here once a week checking on my property. Refused to submit it to his insurance company, come to find out I am 90% sure after checking with State that he does not even have insurance currently. He was dropped for non payment back in September of 2025. Beware of this hack, I know he's been around for a long time, but that doesn't mean anything obviously.

I recently had a Toto toilet installed, but after the contractor left, I noticed it wasn't properly…read morealigned with the wall. It needed to be rotated slightly on the flange and re-secured, a relatively minor adjustment I could have done myself. However, since I was planning to have the original contractor cover the cost, I decided to hire a plumber. I called several local plumbing companies, and Barron initially stood out because the woman who answered was very eager to help. She offered a same-day appointment, which I couldn't take, but she quickly arranged someone to come the next day. She assured me the estimate would be free and that if I agreed to the price, they would do the job right then and there. That's where things started to go wrong. The technician arrived, looked at the situation, and said it would be simple. He then went to his truck, entered the job into their pricing system (ServiceTitan), and returned with a quote of nearly $1,000. For a minor realignment job that required redrilling a few holes and reseating the flange adapter, this price was outrageous. When I pushed back, explaining the work should be a quarter of that cost, he offered a "discount" if I signed up for an annual maintenance subscription. This lowered the bill by $141, but the subscription cost $88, so I saved only around $50. I agreed, reluctantly, just to save something. Then came the actual work. What should have been under an hour turned into over three hours. The tech didn't make a template when drilling the securing studs, so every time he reinstalled the toilet, it leaked during the test flush. After about an hour of this, he had already worn out his tile bit and had to leave to buy a new one. At one point, I heard him calling dispatch for help, but no one was available. He just kept trying, making more holes and failing to align the toilet properly. Eventually, he got it installed, but now I'm left with a floor full of unnecessary drill holes hidden under the toilet. It looks like I'm stuck with this placement unless I want to redo the flooring. To make matters worse, I'm still waiting on confirmation that the subscription has been canceled. I will never use Barron again and will warn others to steer clear. Their flashy vans and branding might look professional, but the service and pricing were anything but. Look for a skilled, independent local plumber instead.
