Worst after surgery care ever! I've had 2 total knee and 1 total shoulder replacements by different…read moredoctors and not had any problems. I had a total hip replacement and it has been a nightmare. All the other doctors stitched the incisions closed but not this one, it was glued! When I went in for my 3 week follow up, the person who came into the room did not identify themselves. She paid little attention to my concerns which were: an incision that had a hole in it and hard, painful tissue around it. About 4 days later the incision opened up and drained a lot of fluid. When I called the office, I was told to send pictures. I was referred to a wound doctor. The surgery was done January 29, 2026. It is now almost the end of April 2026 and the incision has not closed. This has unnecessarily caused a lot of pain and discomfort. I will not go into this office ever again. The wound doctor has been excellent, very concerned and caring. He also has a super friendly staff who are very thorough and efficient. He has sent us to radiology to try and drain the extra fluid but it is too thick. We don't have any definite timeline as to when this will resolve.
