I met Sara Caldwell, the owner of ConveyMedia.com, in 2011 when she attended an event held by the small public radio station I used to run. As an underfunded nonprofit, we had never had the budget to develop a professional web site, and I did what I could with basic tools to create a site -- but I'm a public radio executive, producer, and engineer, not a web developer. In 2002, our site looked reasonably good, but by 2011 new looks and functionalities had made our site outdated.
Sara loved the mission of the station (and later the nonprofit that continued when the station went off the air), and without my even asking, she volunteered to work with me to create a new, updated site (http://outcastingmedia.org). We paid some small fees such as purchasing the template, but Sara never charged us for her time and talent, both of which she invested considerably in our site. As part of the design, we worked together on many things I didn't know about, from search engine optimization to design to keywords to functionality, and because of her I am better at doing my job.
Sara has continued to be available for multiple projects both personal and related to the nonprofit, without charge. We hope to have a mobile app soon. Her work has been consistently professional, she is dedicated to getting involved in her community, and she has become a good personal friend going beyond our work together.
Obviously, Sara has a business to run and can't work pro bono for everyone -- but she will go the extra mile to make sure every client is completely satisfied with her work. I am thrilled to give Sara and ConveyMedia.com the highest and most enthusiastic recommendation for anyone seeking to develop or improve their web and mobile presences. read more
