A complete waste of time and money. Seriously, go somewhere else - anywhere else. A back alley doctor would be better than this place. Hubs went in with a bad cough. Exact same symptoms as my coworker had who is 40 years old. Coworker got antibiotics and steroids. Cleared up in 3 days. They didn't want to give hubs antibiotics just the steroids. No reason for not giving the antibiotics, besides just being idiots. Here we are 3 weeks later and a 57 year old man has been hacking for weeks now with no relief. Can't sleep, missed Christmas and New Years because he can't be around others due to the excessive coughing. He called them back and asked for antibiotics again and they said he had to be seen again. Unreal.. came in the moment the opened their doors at 8:00 AM. Multiple people were able to pass me in line because of their new "self check-in"... so basically all the people at the front desk do is take your money they were very rude when answering my questions. Finally after 45 minutes I am seen to find out what I am sick with. They only test me for strep which I wait another half hour for just for them to tell me it's not strep and try to push me out the door. I asked if I could receive some other testing to find out what I am sick with and the nurse was visibly angry from me asking. I will NEVER be returning to ConvenientMD and if you are truly trying to receive some "urgent care" go elsewhere this place. Nearly 2 hours for them to give me two swab tests and tell me the results! The staff personnel were very unkind, after 30 minutes locked in a 6x6 room , dare to ask if you are forgotten. Yes they are all available to defend each other as a gang rather than saying the wait is 10 minutes, or so on. They were the rudest staff acting like their customers don't matter and it runs one way. They said and I quote "If you don't want to be in the room with the door closed, you can leave" Not that the clinic was full, I was the only one in the waiting area I asked to leave and get a refund in writing, they said to call billing for that. 6 people staff were at the cash register to tell me call billing. OK, so generally I think this place does a great job, unless you are going for a COVID test. Then, it's a pretty inefficient operation. I would avoid it for a COVID test unless you have three hours to spend waiting after you are on time for your appointment. They should give you an appointment window and call you 30 minutes before you will be seen so you can not have to wait there the entire 3 hours, kids out of school, me out of work, etc. I know thing are a little crazy, but a little efficiency and streamlining would help everyone here, including the hard working staff at Convenient MD. read more

Positive: Affordable $ alternative to ER. Negative: I suggest going to a branch with an actual doctor... otherwise they may do more harm than good... Went to (windham) branch and they just wrapped my ankle with cloth and didn't tell me to get a brace., tried another branch with an actual doctor- doctor said -"You need a brace" and gave me an actual solid ankle brace. Thanks doc, why didn't the branch in windham do this the 2 times I went there... brace made a big difference... Bad business practice: Their billing department is very bad. Call and leave multiple messages- days later- no answer. Email them, they finally respond! :) Then they tell me my insurance company determines what I pay. This is bullshit, Convienient MD creates the initial bill, not my insurance. My insurance just slides the bill to me cause I haven't hit my out of pocket limit yet. ... asked to talk to management, no response at all. Asked for their name, no response. Quick service. What they don't tell you is your insurance won't pay them and they will go in your bank account and take all the money they are owed. When I went on they told me all I would be responsible for is my co pay never f did they say you have to pay for bill in full via the credit card they decided to keep in file after I told them don't keep my info and automatically bill you unexpectedly for the whole amount. I will never ever ever go there again. No one told me they would be going into my bank account without permission. I did not authorize then keeping my card in file. From the other comments here. Amazing service! I was so nervous coming here because I've always associated these places with lower quality service than a hospital (no idea why, just my irrational fear). I had an accident on my mountain bike in windham and needed stitches. The check in process was very quick and the wait was only about 5 minutes (although there was only one person ahead of me). From the time I walked in to the time I left was only about an hour and that includes the time it took to stitch me up! Nurse Lynne was super sweet and easy to talk to. Literally went in there to get a UTI piss test and to get my glucose levels checked to see if I could possibly be diabetic since I keep getting reoccurring UTIs and other symptoms and was worried that I could possibly have it. I only went here because my primary care doctor at my doctors office in Chelmsford doesn't practice anymore and I needed to sign up for a new doctor but didn't have the time to. I wanted to be seen right away. So I go to Convenient MD, 20 minutes before they closed, because well...I got out of work late and it was the only place that was open nearby. So I go in and everything seems to be going normal except for the fact that one of The head nurses that took notes on his laptop about my symptoms, kept asking me the same questions over and over or would type things/symptoms that I never said, so I assumed he was training but when I asked him he said "No." OK so I guess you weren't paying attention??? They had me pee in the cup, pin prick my index finger yada yada yada...then they start taking out the swabs for STDs, yet I have my own gyno I go to regularly 4 times a year (every three months), but I let them do their jobs, even though this wasn't what I came here for.‍ In the end...I'm told I'm fine and that my urine, my glucose and everything else looked really good and that maybe it could be something else that I should go see my primary care for, since they couldn't find anything wrong with me. I tell the staff at the desks outside the triages and the nurses, "Is it okay if you guys can call me on a follow up and let me know my results again in a few days, just in case my results change?" Cause that's what's every doctors office IVE EVER BEEN TO DID. They would not tell you straight up that you were fine, they'd actually TEST YOUR ASS AND THEN CALL YOU A FEW DAYS LATER AND TELL YOU THE RESULTS. They tell me "Of course we would call or email you." FIVE DAYS LATER, no call, no emails, no NOTHING. I felt so sick and in pain I called them myself and once I found out my results, I was in shock. If I had never called, I probably would have never found out my actual results... I literally told the receptionist on the phone with me that I thought her staff were LAZY and that they are only there to make MONEY and that it was 20 minutes before they closed so obviously they were trying to rush me out of there without actually giving two pigeon shits if I was actually fine. She apologized over and over and said she's not in charge of their department but that she felt sorry for me and told me it was okay if I didn't want to pay FIFTEEN DOLLARS to use their pharmacy and that I could go to Walmart to pick my prescription up for practically free of charge. I should have just signed up for a new doctor and got seen a week later if I had known I was going to be waiting a week to get treated anyway. I don't even want to pay the bill, never mind finding out how much it's going to cost me. They don't deserve my money. By the way, since I know the infection reached my bladder since I am having terrible abdominal pain and other serious problems so hopefully the antibiotics these idiots prescribed are going to get rid of it. I can tell you this is not just a UTI anymore. I'll freak out if I have to switch medications. DONT EVER GO HERE ITS JUST A CROOKED MONEY MAKING FACILITY. THEY AREN'T REAL DOCTORS. Did not provide medical treatment other than guessing at what my son had, nor did they provide discharge paperwork or instructions. Was NOT seen by a physician even though I seem to be having a severe reaction to my predisone for poison ivy. Basically said to follow up with regular physician. Ran no lab tests. So much providing the "highest quality of care". Receptionist was rude and not knowledgeable about what to do or how to handle it. read more

Medical staff was amazing. I walked in at 7:55 as my daughter had just spiked a 103 fever. When I went to check in, the receptionist mentioned several times that they close at 8. I reminded her that it was before 8 and was hoping to get my child seen. She was not happy and rolled her eyes several times as she checked me in. The staff inside was amazing otherwise . My husband and I went in and asked how long we would have to wait to get a flu shot. We were told 10 to 15 min. After 30 min, I asked how much longer and was told by the front desk lady, she just had to register a lot of people, and had not even registered us yet. Meanwhile, our papers were still at the front desk while she was talking and laughing with people in the next window. She was not registering anyone at that time. After another 15 minutes, I asked her how much longer? She got up and went to the back. After another 10 minutes, my husband went up and asked for our insurance cards and licenses, and we left. Convenient MD is a very caring and felt staff really listened to me about my ailments.

The staff at the desk were professional, polite, and efficient. The nurse i had listened to everything i had to say and shared my concern. The PA i saw, talked to me like a child. Told me to come back when i was more emergent, which i came to urgent care because i wasn't yet emergent (that's how it's supposed to work). Every preventative measure i asked about was met with a patronizing tone and being told i wasnt experiencing an emergency so i was fine (i am as of right now getting worse). I was made to feel like i was crazy for explaining how i too have experience in this field and what i needed were certain exams (which weren't ordered because again, wasn't emergent enough). I would have just skipped this place and went to the emergency room like so many others would have. Honestly not worth my money or time if I'm trying to be pre-emptive with my ailment. Two stars for literally everyone besides the PA who saw me. Bedside manner was awful, diagnosis was accurate but lacked any preventative action or treatment. This all being said the next day i went to parkland ER with the same symptoms. I had pneumonia. Knocked down to one star. This place just wants your money. read more

The nurses and receptionists were kind and wonderful. This review is entirely based on the one doctor. When you tell a doctor you're sorry but you must leave in 10 mins bas have already waited 50) because you cannot leave your 100% disabled parent at home alone for more than an hour for fear of them injuring themselves, it is NEVER appropriate to while leaving the room say "I need a rapid test ASAP because she MUST leave in 10 mins!" In a sarcastic tone to which your coworkers laugh while I'm sitting right here. I can't condone any business that does such s thing as it is terrible bedside manner and honestly so disrespectful as you have no idea of other people's situations and should respect EVERY patient, especially when they were polite and not rude about alerting you to the situation. My brother and I went here to get a covid test. We talked to a lady on the phone who said they're available for testing, so we headed over there. When we got there, the lady at the front desk was very unwelcoming, she gave us a dirty look, when you'd expect someone at a front desk to smile and welcome you. When my brother explained that we were here for a covid test, she kinda cut him off and said "the testing's closed it's first come first serve. Come back in the morning." And so we did. The lady was nicer in the morning and we filled out the forms and they secured us an appointment for 1pm and said that they would call us. When they called us, they basically told us that it was too early and had us come in and speak to a nurse. We waited for 15 minutes for a nurse to come in and she just reiterated what was already said to us on the phone prior to us coming in. We were both annoyed because we'd already driven there so much. The nurse gave us a paper so that we'd be all set for the test the next day. -- And yes, we finally got it. Hopefully the results don't take up to a week, the girl said it would take up to 1-3 days, maybe 4. All in all, I wish the place enabled better communication with their team members, as I've read the reviews and I know I'm not the only one who's had to travel to this location many times in the same week.
