Run as fast as you can from this place. I went in with a sore throat and ear pain. They did swabs told me I was fine with a virus and told me it had to run its course. No antibiotics, NOTHING!!!. My husband convinced me to call my primary care and it turns out I had strep throat and an ear infection. Their not very friendly. I will never step foot in a place like this again. You do all the paperwork yourself on your phone. So what exactly is the point of this place? Misdiagnosed and very poor quality health care. Shut them down!! read more

Absolutely horrible experience. After making an appointment, I still waited over an hour to get taken in the back. The exam time took a long time to complete. I was told to bring paperwork back to make a change on my DOT medical card. When I brought the paperwork back, it was then and only then that they told me I would need to pay full price for another medical exam, knowing I just had one 2 days prior, to be able to update my card. I would highly recommend finding another provider. Given some of the generic replies to other reviews from the owner, I won't hold my breath that anyone will speak to the staff or help me in my situation. I'll gladly go somewhere else and pay before I give Convenient MD another dollar. read more

What is the point of pre-registering and setting an appointment time, if they don't actually take you at your time and instead (even though you're number one on the list on the wall of whose up next) they take every single walk in ahead of you anyway? what a waste of time setting up for a simple TB test reading (aka a 2 second look at my arm) when I'm sitting here for FORTT FIVE MINUTES after my appointment time I chose. TLDR. don't waste your time bothering to schedule anything, because it apparently doesn't even matter. Complete and useless waste of time this place. If I was able to give 0 stars, I would. We scheduled an appointment and still has to wait over an hour to be seen. My 3 year old was seem by the physician who did no swabs, no testing for flu or anything else. we did a chest x ray due to concern of pneumonia. There was no call from the practice to give results and no follow up from any physician. It was a complete waste of time. read more

Don't come here to get bloodwork done. It says Labcorp, but this is not a facility for that. I've been here before and had a good experience. Even though I was frustrated today, the staff was very friendly. To patients in the waiting room, don't take it down your mask to cough!! The whole point of the mask is to keep germs to yourself. Not sure why all the bad reviews on this business but I have had nothing but great support, customer service and luck at ConvenientMD locations. After getting turned away at the Plainville location because they were too booked, I took a chance and called first and visited this location 25 minutes before they were to close. Not only did I get exemplary customer service, I was taken in right away and treated so well, and it was fast. The staff at each of these location is nothing but nice, cordial and helpful and I could not ask for a better outcome. They were quick with service and even called in a prescription to my local pharmacy. I will continue to visit these locations and recommend them to any I know looking for fast, friendly services. read more

I went to this facility for the first time this week. The practitioner that I saw was very professional. (I believe that she was a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant.) I was impressed by how well she listened to my concerns. She was knowledgable about the illness that I was concerned about, and agreed that--given my symptoms--I should be tested. I was impressed that she ordered the full range of appropriate tests, since many physicians order only one test. She also recommended that I see a specialist to address an additional --probably unrelated--issue. Again, I was impressed by her understanding of the second issue, since many physicians do not understand the complexity of that condition. Unfortunately, I had problems when it came to getting the lab tests done. However, I want to emphasize that this practitioner was very competent, and I would be happy to see her again in the future, if the need arose. I appreciated her warm, caring manner, and her professionalism. read more

After booking online for an 11:30 appointment waited 1 1/2 hours for a Covid test! Train the receptionist to let people know at check in they are running late. When I went up to the other receptionist after an hour to reschedule she could barely have been bothered, told me I couldn't leave the premises after checking in. Seriously? Dr. Walter Cooper was unprofessional. I was there on a Saturday evening with a sick 1.5 year old. He didn't introduce himself and instead led with "I don't do pedi and I don't like kids. My grandkids are on the West Coast and I like it that way." He told me I needed to fine a new pediatrician. I said why and he said because my son had a double ear infection (I had shared with him that the previous Monday my son saw the doctor for his 18 month checkup). I said "but his ears looked perfect on Monday- the doctor checked and said they're perfect so far" (despite my son having had a fever). So I said I was confused what either me or my doctor should have done different when there was no infection yet. He said "I'm not going to talk bad about another provider but if we were having beers together I would throw down!" Very unprofessional. He said "He has a double ear infection" and went to walk out. I had to stop him and ask what we were doing about it. He told me he was calling in an antibiotic and started to walk out again. Again, I had to stop him to tell him that the antibiotic he mentioned didn't work for my son in the past. He wanted to try it anyhow. He never asked if I had questions, or wished me well- he was in a hurry to get out of the room. 3 days later my son was worse and we were back at the doctor. A friend had a similar experience with the same doctor- Walter Cooper- when she was seen for a skin issues and he made a comment about how "dermatologists are f*ing geeks." After my experience, my friends and after reading reviews here I don't know how he still has a job. I received a text a few days later asking how my experience was. I briefly described my dissatisfaction. A few days later I had a voicemail from someone looking to follow up and they asked that I rerun their call if I had feedback to share. I called the number provided and a receptionist answered and was confused why I was calling back. I told her I was dissatisfied with the unprofessionalism of the doctor I saw and she simply said she would let the manager know. That was the end of the call and I never got a follow up. The facility was clean, receptionists and nurse was nice but the doctor is an embarrassment and I will never return. read more

The worst Urgent care in the area. As soon as I told the "receptionist" my symptoms she automatically tried to pursuade me to not wait. First off, you're not a physician and it's not up to you to decide IF I actually need to be seen. I told her I had been sick for 3 weeks. Then, she asked for my insurance card. I stated to her I was not the subscriber. She proceeded. She then spent 10 minutes trying to input the card information, continuously saying that my insurance was not active, LIE. I told her that I had previously been to the ER earlier this week & had no issues with my insurance, her response was "our systems are different." Again, I stated I was NOT the subscriber, she continued to put in the wrong information, then took a phone call from a colleague that was trying to "help" her all while talking on the phone about personal matters nothing that had to do with getting my insurance put in. NEVER once did she ask for the subscriber information nor would she take the correct information. She also refused to contact the insurance company. She demanded I self pay or that care would be refused. So I left and had to drive around to find somewhere else to go. I called my insurance right away, they confirmed it was active, that it was a USER ERROR and they also confirmed that the "receptionist" should have called them immediately to verify instead of refusing care or demanding self pay. When I went to a different Urgent care, I told them right off the bat, here is my card, I am not the subscriber, she instantly asked for the correct information & I was able to be seen. Isn't that interesting? Get some new training you do nothing but waste SICK people's time, money and gas because you're too ignorant to even know how to input health insurance information. If I were rating just on the PA that saw me, I wouldn't even give one star. However, the staff was all friendly, caring and concerned. The PA I saw, Walter Cooper, aggressively knocked on the door when coming to see me, did not introduce himself and seemed completely unconcerned about what was going on with me and the empathy was completely lacking. He insinuated that my injury was due to my weight, and he does not even know me. I've always had an anxiety about going to the doctors, and Walter Cooper proved to me why I have that anxiety. I don't generally complain about bad experiences, but he took a pleasant visit with a great receptionist, insurance person, nurse and another nurse and turned it into a nightmare. I took my daughter in because it was a Sunday and her pediatrician's office was closed. She had a miserable cold with a horrible cough and was having trouble breathing. The intake nurse was very nice. However, she did not understand my daughter's pre-exisiting condition. This didn't concern me because she wasn't the treating physician. We were taken to a room and waited for the doctor. A nurse practitioner came in. Had I known there was no doctor on staff, I wouldn't have bothered. I explained my daughter's symptoms and gave a history of her pre-exisiting condition as this was contributing to her symptoms. He had never heard of it so I had to educate him. Then, when we discussed possible antibiotics, he suggested that I try giving my daughter one that she has a known allergy to because enough time had gone by. I explained that I would never do that unless under the care and advice of her regular doctor. We waited for almost 45 minutes for a simple chest x-ray because the nurse didn't know how to use the machine. I needed to get tested for COVID, so I went to mass.gov and found out that ConvenientMD offered free testing. I filled out a form, someone called me to verify my info, and then immediately I had a virtual appointment with a doctor to discuss my symptoms. He agreed I should get tested. I live in Plainville but was told there were no available appointments at that location but Bellingham had availability. I chose a 5:53 appointment time to get a molecular diagnostic /PCR COVID test done. I arrived early and went to the door to check in at 5:45. I was told it would be about 15 minutes for them to complete some paperwork and then someone would come out to my car to administer the test. Fast forward to 6:45. No one had come out yet and I had seen multiple other patients who had arrived before me, get out of their cars and go up to the door to (I assume) ask for an update. I saw other patients come and go in and out of the building but still no one was helping me. I waited 10 more minutes and by then had to use the bathroom. I walked up to the building to check how much longer and ask to use the restroom but there was no one inside the entryway, lobby, or at the desk. I waited a couple more minutes to see if anyone would come to the door but no luck. I couldn't wait any longer and left. read more

Doctor Walter is very unprofessional and rude. I told him what my problems were and he called me a "pain in the ass" then asked me "what do you think we should do". Like I don't know that's why I am here?!? I think he thinks he's a smart ass because he has the label as a Doctor and tries to be sarcastic but just comes off as rude and hurtful. After he left the room I started crying because I was already frustrated with how much pain I was in and the fact I wasn't get the least bit of comfort or sympathy from him. I work in the medical field and my boss would never treat a patient like this. There's a difference from trying to be funny and just be straight up rude. The nurses are amazing and I feel bad they have to work for such an unprofessional doctor. I was throwing up on antibiotics and told him I was allergic to amoxicillin. He prescribed me child's amoxicillin and said it should be fine. Guess what hour after I took it, on a full stomach I was throwing up. I will not be returning here unless I can see a new doctor.
