We had in our mind's eye, the threshold figure of $1000 and didn't want to spend much more than that. The woman in this place was very friendly and talked us through some of the options. After bouncing on bed after bed, we found one that was super comfortable but was a bit over budget. We negotiated with the woman and got a pretty good deal. The headstand was $200 extra and we convinced ourselves that we didn't need one. A few weeks later we realised we did need it so we went back to the shop and bought it. A year down the line, the bed is still as comfortable as ever. Like I've said we went to quite a few shops but this seemed have the best deals.

Rest sell their own Therapedic mattresses which they purport gives the best night rest and if you are concerned about the environment the are sustainably conscious. The sales lady was efficient & fulfilled my needs quickly. Whilst in shop I laid on a Inner Spring Mattress & thought NO because, that is what I used to have & when testing out the Pocket Mattress it felt instantly better & in-fact perfect. Now as time has ticked around I totally love my new Mattress, my sleep has improved & a few body aches have disappeared. Only thing I can fault was the delivery time it was supposed to be delivered Sunday 15th May at 2pm BUT did not arrive till early evening about 6:30pm-ish - I had to re-arrange my day BUT on the whole I would recommend Bed 4 U if dollars are a concern & have since mentioned to friends of my purchase.

They had ample of both, along with anything else you might like to spruce up your bedroom, lounge room or kitchen with. The showroom is very big, with technically three levels. Lots of very beautiful timber furniture that distracted me, and I particularly liked the black and white fabric dining chairs that were on sale, eight for $800, very nice, but not what I was after. The cushions started off at $30 but most were quite pricey. Lamps, plenty of those too but none jumped out at me enough to purchase today. The name 'Country Road' will probably conjure up images of old fashioned 'country' style decor, but I found that most of these items were modern looking, with a few 'urban' pieces here and there. The lovely sales lady I encountered goes by the name Faye, she was chatty, smiley and willing to help if needed, was a warm welcome overall.

The men's and women's clothing sections are pitiful at this branch though, so I wouldn't even bother. The best Farmers for clothes are Botany or St Lukes. Don't bother either with the basement section of this Farmers either, it's an un-funky 'industrial' (read: we were too cheap to finish it properly) hell where tweeny clothes go to die.

I accidentally made a blunder. I bought a wrong size mattress and discovered it only when I was fitting it on the base. I called the shop straight after and asked about an option to swap it for the right one. The customer support treated me to my surprise rather offhandedly and initially rejected any assistance with the matter. Eventually I was told that the matter could be handled by a manger and I was promised that someone will call me possibly to arrange some kind of solution following day. The next day no one called me. Slowly, as I start to buy pieces for the new house that I plan to cherish for a long time, I predict there trips to Weekend Trader will become more frequent, even if it's only to dream...
