I wanted her to get a facial so that when she went up on stage for her musical, the makeup would go on smoothly. I reached out to Angelika by messaging her, and immediately she responded. The first sign of professionalism is when someone gets back to you immediately and she was just that, professional. I asked about a facial for my daughter and she said that she had a teen facial. The price was $45 for approximately 45 minutes. I asked for her availabilities and was able to get in the same weekend. Arriving, you must let the front know that you are there for Angelika's Aesthetics because her room is towards the back of the salon. She made her way to greet us and took us back to her room. I had to sign a waiver since she was underage. She also explained what she was going to do, a microdermabrasion and a mask afterwards. To begin, my daughter doesn't have acne or any skin issues. She actually has incredible skin. However, she doesn't wash her oily spots which is her nose area, really well. So there was a buildup of dirt and such, with her pores being larger in that area. Once her facial was done, I could definitely tell a difference in her nose area. Her face was light red from the microdermabrasion but nothing significant. Angelika told us to stay out of the sun. The very next day, when I looked at her nose area, her pores were almost non-existent and her face looked flawless. We put her stage makeup on today and it just glided on. Plus, she made my daughter comfortable during the whole facial (she's a shy child). The location was convenient, there was plenty of parking spots, and the salon was very clean. I would definitely recommend Angelika to my family and friends. A great first facial experience for my daughter.
