I don't really eat the frosting whenever I eat cakes but with this one, I just can't help but dip my fingers over and over again because their frosting isn't really your typical frosting. It's like eating a whipped cream with zesty fruity powder drizzled on top. What I just dislike somehow in their cakes is that it's sometimes taste like it was stored for too long. I'm not sure if it's because of the air in their sponge cakes but somehow, it doesn't feel too old whenever I try their cheesecakes or mousse. What's funny is that I thought that it was a French patisserie from France but I later found out that it was originally from Korea. I'm such a bimbo when it comes to facts sometimes.

Aside from their selection of bread, cookies and light cakes, I like their cookies and macarons the most. I usually grab one or two pieces of their macarons when I'm in a hurry because it's easiest to eat and packs flavor in such a small thing. I'm not sure if it's the Korean or Asian twist, but their macarons are a bit more chewy and a bit thicker (or fatter) compared to the other ones I've tried around Manila. Though I don't think that's a bad thing. I actually like it. I also like that their macarons are vibrantly colored and I can really taste the flavors. Aside from the usual chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla, they have green tea and mango-flavored macarons at less than PhP30. They also have premium flavors like cherry, blueberry, maple, and even grape that are just about 30% more expensive, but still relatively cheap given the taste and fine flavors. My favorite flavors though would be the basic strawberry or chocolate. My Dad on the other hand likes the soboro the most. The soboro is bread with a crunchy coating that tastes lightly of peanut butter. Being the peanut butter lover, my Dad would have two of it as snack or even have it as dessert before he has his cup of coffee.

Great place to chill and rest the feet after a day of shopping for pasalubong. Boho atmosphere with cottage core decor. Kinetic sculptures of birds mounted from the ceiling was whimsical fun. Casual cafe with savory and sweet offerings.

I came here one time when I was vacationing in Manila. My family went to visit relatives and I was left alone to my devices...so I decided to walk around the Town Center. And along the way, I found this little spot with a name that reminded me of someone I'd rather forget! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! In spite of that, I decided to go in and try the place. And I was not disappointed! The service is great and fast. And the staff are quite well versed with the menu. I was still a little full from breakfast at home, so I decided to have something light...grilled cheese rolls and a hot chocolate. And they were superb! And priced within anyone's reach! With the pandemic, I do not know how the place is faring. But I hope they make it through these times, so that the next time I come home, I'll have a place where I can satisfy my pastry cravings! Try them!

*Note: This is a 4.5 Star review…read more Since the past weeks have been very, very hot and humid, I've been craving for cold desserts. My new favorite dessert at the moment is Bingsu! While I was down South, my friends and I decided that it would be great to end the night with something icy to cool down. We actually weren't sure where to get Bingsu but, thankfully, we found this hidden gem at Molito. Bingsu is basically the Korean version of shaved ice or halo halo. Imagine soft, icy snow with condensed milk poured on top then add any toppings of your liking: from mochi to fresh fruit to brownies! We arrived almost to closing time but they still allowed us to order. We decided to try the regular size of the Injeolmi, Mix Berry Yogurt, and Mango (of course!). There was a bit of wait since we were the last order and they ran out of ingredients and had to prep for more. So, we waited for about 15-20 minutes. While we were waiting, we decided to hangout in their "Snow Room"! Yes, they have a small room in the café where "snow" falls from the ceiling. Pretty cool making snowballs! :) After hanging out in the snow, our bingsu orders arrived. Among the 3 that we ordered, the best was actually the Injeolmi! It's was the most traditional one and it was also the most flavorful. It had the right amount of sweetness and it was packed with ingredients. The Mix Berry Yogurt was tart and had dried fruit which added the sweetness. The Mango Bingsu was a winner. But, I always ended up going back for more spoonfuls of the Injeolmi! The one common factor for all the Bingsu we ate though is that the ice was sooo fine, fluffy and creamy. One of the best quality bingsu I've tried so far! I will definitely come back when I'm in the South again. I hope I'll be able to try their Cheese Bingsu next time! :)

The snow room in the cafe was a pretty fun touch. The desserts they serve were certainly fun and just the goodness we needed. We ordered the chocolate snow ice, the small one, certainly, it was enough for two to share as a dessert. I'm used to the Taiwanese snow ice and this is certainly something new. Reminded me of the snow ice, but the ice was really flakey and soft, super fun for the palette. The chocolate wasn't overly sweet and was just plain enjoyable. We were already eyeballing the menu for our next visit and scoping out the other tables. It all looks so good!! If you need a cool pick me up... This should certainly do the trick! We hope to visit again soon and try everything eventually :) A la cuisine! Stay hungry my friends!
