Then the Clinic he was working at closed. He opened his first Clinic in Fort Mill sc. I believe Baxter hood. He had a great office assistant, can't remember her name. This is during COVID 19. She was then on a computer promoter and very intelligent and efficient. Then he moved to a different location in Baxter Hood. And had excellent administration. At one point Dr Shah came in to help the staff. She is very intelligent and respectful of you as a client. That being said I had several phone visits and was not in actual office. Everything is fine. Then when he hired the front office staff in Tega Cay SC and i had someone at the office put in my prescription for Dr Shah it was the worst experience ever. I was not getting actual dose Dr Shah had prescribed for me, but what this assistant decided i should be prescribed. I then had severe panic attacks and tried to leave a message for Dr Shah and he acted like he never knew. Now I had to cancel my upcoming appointment due to hospitalized for pneumonia and the office staff refused to cancel and reschedule when i was in the clear from pneumonia. All i want is to let Dr Shah know. His front office staff is giving me medical advice and telling me to take a medicine the ER doctors told me not to take. They are saying take the medicine and not let me get a word in. I am giving Dr Shah 1 more chance to come to conclusion as what and who are advising his patient on medical care without a license. ​

After 20 visits to this practice I was still not getting better, ended up with edema, CDIFF, lung infection, heart issues, and kidney dysfunction. Every visit included bp check, weight, and temperature and she takes notes and sends you for tests but never discusses the results, you need to Google it is what I was told. The care I was given could have cost me my life. I did seek specialists & they all agreed I did not get proper care. Check their credentials and if you get blood work done make sure your insurance covers it. They also overcharged me but I was refunded by Medicare it was completely covered. I thought I had a problem with billing but I could never get appointments timely, answers to my questions or about the medicines I was taking, could not sleep and could not get sleep medications when I needed them. Every aspect of my care was questionable. I found another doctor and was treated properly, discussions and actions were taken and I have learned so much more about what happened to me at FMFP. I was hospitalized 3 times during the course of my Covid due to the inaccurate care I received here. Gained 15 pounds of fluid and she sent me home with water pills I went to emergency room at 3 in the morning it was a life threatening experience they told me!!! Also I was never told to get a stool sample as I had severe diarrhea that turned into CDIFF and that can also kill you. God awful experience here.​​​​

Whatever you do, don't ask any questions, because he will scold you as if you are a child and have no right to question his judgement on anything. My child will no longer be seeing him, nor will anyone who asks me about him.

Before scheduling the appointment, I repeatedly asked about the cost and no one could give me a clear answer until the day before the visit. After the appointment, I was billed $500. As someone without insurance, that is a significant amount of money, and the lack of transparency about pricing beforehand was very frustrating. I have not paid this bill yet because of the issues surrounding the appointment. When I arrived, there was confusion about the intake paperwork. I had already completed the questionnaire online, but apparently it did not save in their system. I had no way of knowing that, yet the situation made me feel as if I had somehow wasted their time. The interaction felt uncomfortable and dismissive from that point on. I specifically scheduled an in-person appointment because the instructions I received stated that an in-person visit was required for medication management. However, during the appointment I was told that no controlled medication could be prescribed until labs were completed. This requirement was never mentioned beforehand. As a result, I was billed $500 for an appointment where the expectations and requirements were not communicated clearly ahead of time. The overall experience felt rushed, poorly communicated, and unprofessional. Mental health care should involve transparency, clear expectations, and respect for patients' time and finances. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

This is what I've already sent to Atrium Corporate: Husband & I waited over an hour after arriving early for my 3pm new patient appt. w/PA Jennifer Sheldon. Receptionist was warm & friendly & we enjoyed speaking to her & other patients despite waiting a ridiculous amount of time considering the chart had a "green light" for today stating "running on time". An Indian woman came in at 3:20pm for a 3:20 appt. and was called back before us (not receptionist's fault, it was the "back" that stuck their head out and called for that woman). Asked receptionist why the back would call a patient with a later appointment in ahead of us. She wondered too & went into the back but had nothing to tell us as there were other patients entering & waiting for her. I didn't get called back until 4pm or later. Very nice tech took my vitals, all were good. Then the supposedly "WONDERFUL" Jennifer came in with pre-conceived notions and was nothing like the "5 star" PA/MD (some referred to her as) we'd read about. My paperwork made it clear that I am an insomniac who needs Ambien to help with sleep & that Xanax has helped me in the past with panic/anxiety (3 deaths in immediate family & spouse with heart condition which required a triple bypass last spring). Jennifer was rushed, condescending & blunt! She didn't ask one question other than had I seen a psychiatrist or a sleep disorder MD. Told her "no and didn't plan to & with reason. Jennifer then pointed to a Surescripts printout & said I had Ambien filled as well as Triazolam on 12/12/2023. SO WHAT? I made it clear I was there to establish new patient relationship and that I'd need Ambien & something for anxiety in future. She seemed to imply I was a drug addict and despite hearing about my husband's heart condition showed no concern for either of us, said she'd never prescribe any "controlled substance" (incl. Ambien) so we left. Would love to know who's giving her those fake 5 star reviews!!!!!". FYI, I do believe that complaint I sent to Atrium Corporate regarding PA, Jennifer Sheldon, was KIND to say the least! She's totally a cold hearted, snotty, uncaring "B" who only deserves minus reviews. How did she get 240-plus "five star reviews" on Google/Atrium after being at that small practice less than a year? Sounds like Daddy, Mommy or "Uncle Buck" pushed for them or wrote them personally (maybe she or her dog did -- don't know how she could have a husband who'd stay with her for anything other than family money). BTW, MY husband sat in on that miserable meeting & was so livid I feared he'd drive off the road as he angrily went on about her on the way home. Jennifer Sheldon is the WORST person I have ever met in the medical world, STEER CLEAR!!!!!
