For dinner we ordered the Pork Cheek and Tornedo (filet of beef) both were perfectly prepared and so tender. The dessert of the day which was a poached pear and vanilla ice cream was light and a nice finish. If you are looking for exquisite dining in a cozy and welcoming setting (12 tables) come and eat at this establishment which is ran by a mother (Chef) & son (Host & Server) team. We ordered our customary bottle of white, a fresh salad and some pasta. The lovely K had the Cannelloni, and I the Tri pasta with spaghetti, tortellini and penne. Both sauces were the same with a different pasta noodle. Both were good, plentiful, but not awe inspiring. We are in Portugal after all, but the food more than passed muster. We loved the interior of the building as so often seems to be the case in this UNESCO world heritage site. The curved and vaulted ceilings are gorgeous , we wish we could have them in our home in Canada.
