I'm on a pickleball high after some open play this morning and super pleased that we are guest members of the Golf Club while we're spending some time in Flag this summer... I've already reviewed Oakmont as our family is a huge fan of the restaurant and outdoor seating and super kid friendly environment. My family has taken advantage of golf and enjoys that, and I recently checked out the fitness center too... I've found the staff to be friendly, the facility well maintained, the location super convenient, and other members super chatty and fun to engage with as well. We plan to take advantage of the pool, more pickleball, possibly some yoga on the lawn, and likely more food and beverage from Oakmont as well. I'm grateful for this hidden gem for sure! read more

Fairly priced golf course that provides a fun and challenging experience. Facilities are OK but I've never understood why they don't have a row of mats on their driving range. The range grass gets absolutely destroyed and they don't give it enough time to recover. Seems like a mismanaged opportunity. read more

Showed up and the clubhouse was bustling. Awesome staff got me checked in and ready to play. A tall boy of PBR was 4.00 and that's a fair price. This golf course has some really nice greens, And fairways are kept up great. However that's about it. It plays as a 118 slope, so there really is not much to think about off the tee. I got a league rate for my 18 with cart and that was cool. I will be back if I can scoop a free round. However I prefer courses with more challenge. Still worth checking out. The greens are superb!!!! read more

The Good: Very friendly and professional staff as well as fairly new and well kept Golf carts. The Bad: No Starter or Marshalls. Very confussing order at the first tee, and very slow pace of play ( five hours plus). We saw a foursome in front of us who added another cart with a player on the 3rd hole making the group a fivesome. The Ugly: The course was poorly kept, we found gofhers by some of the tees, animal poop in many of the fairways, and the grass on fairways were poorly cut. read more

These guys judged us as we walked by there office and they were screwing off and we tap on the window to be friendly and joking and they Chased us into the pro shop and asked if we needed something and I said no! I was about to drop 2-3k on new clubs and they persisted on being dumb asses and I was with my kids and brother and we were up there camping and we didn't fit there moto. So that's why they were discriminating us and asking us to leave premises and I basically told they I will spend my money else where and I will not give them my money or time of day! So sad that people have to be judged! read more

Here in this great country of America we all love redemption stories. Boy has CCC made some real changes. I played a round on Sunday and my experience was: how shall I say it; AWESOME! I felt as if they rolled out the red carpet for me. The country club card is a great deal and it will cut cost for sure. CCC is the only public course, with the great customer service the have set the bar high! read more

Nice and fun course! The cart girl kept us hydrated and the greens were in good shape. I just wish the prices weren't so high, but being the only public course in Flagstaff they can charge whatever they want. read more

Nice but never finished my round due to storms. Even in summer it drops to high 40's with the windchill at this altitude (7000 feet). I like playing these lush forest type courses with water features. read more

Came here for a relaxing day of golf and left more frustrated then I did when I left work. They charge 45 dollars for a course that isn't even ready to play. The greens were still messed up from aerating and putting on them was a joke. The ball cleaners didn't even have water in them, let alone soap, and they only had portable restrooms on the course. On top of that they stopped us at the 18th hole because of "time restrictions"...it was 6:10 and the sunset was at 6:40. I can confidentially say I will not be playing this course again and I will be sending my regular cliental from the hotel I work at, to elephant rocks. read more

Visiting from California and wanting to play a round and found this track. Lemme tell you, I loved this golf course. Played for my first time and I enjoyed the views and layout of the course. The greens were in excellent condition in May and the traffic was not heavy during twilight hours. Very green course. Super friendly staff immediately took bags and the pro shop had a smile and made us feel at home. Next time I'm i will make a visit again! Highly recommended. read more

Let me start off by saying that the path it's self is breath taking, the view of mount Elden throughout the course is something to be seen. The course is moderately difficult, introducing water features without taking too much of the fairway away. This is where the positives end. This course must be managed by either a drunken Keebler elf or a literal mole rat. On our second hole, a couple of trespassers and their 3-4 year old child picked up my ball and the kid literally threw it in the water, as if he was skipping a rock. When I yelled at them they didn't respond and continued their hopeless journey twords living under the poverty line. Being stunned by what we witnessed, we called the club house to tell them, as there is ample posting of do not trespass signs, the club house TOLD US to call the police. Then rest of the course played just fine, as it is a beautiful course. Being from out of town, my family and I rented clubs from the clubhouse; they told us to return these clubs and the carts around 6. We finished 18 holes around 5:40, but the employees did their best Houdini and were long gone. Not wanting to be held responsible for the old hag at the desk leaving, we left our clubs with the restaurant attached to the club. They were kind enough to hold on to them and return them in the morning. We asked them where the workers went and they said they're supposed to be there till 6 but they often aren't. In summation, if you don't care for your possessions, the possessions of others, or if you're not planning to get wasted and shit on the course I'd go to a place with at least a shred of customer service. read more

This is a nice course but the greens fees/range balls are overpriced by about 20% and twilight rates begin too late. It has a lot of things going for it though. Ordering custom clubs through the golf shop is really easy. The club building and repair services are pretty quick and very fairly priced. read more
