The starter only lasted not even 2 months before it started making this horrible sound. I had previously bought a alternator from O'Reilly's auto parts for it put on this alternator left me stranded way out at Sangchris lake fishing miles and miles away from home. I didn't learn my lesson that time. I went back and bought the starter it didn't even make it 2 months before it was making that horrible sound.

We were told they did not think the old battery was dead and to charge it overnight, which we did. The next day the car started fine and I went to work. When I went to leave during my lunch, the car was dead and I could not go anywhere. Fortunately, they agreed to replace the battery on our second visit. So we were inconvenienced twice. However, other than the inconvenience, everything went great and the new battery was installed quickly.

I ended up getting a master cylinder from the junk yard and having it installed. Problem solved, finally. However the faulty master cylinders cost lots of money in tow fees, new brake lines, pads and calipers (which came from NAPA). They gave her a loaner while they charged her battery and then she returned to get hers back. After leaving it stopped working and they said it was because it was still a loaner.
