I attended a dance class preview for free & the class was lead by the school's owner Alyssa. I knew immediately that this place was for me. As soon as you walk through those doors, you're not judged by your age or size or background or level of experience. There is a place for everyone. Everyone was so welcoming. The entire place has an atmosphere of community. The class selections are top tier. The teachers are so warm and willing to answer questions. These last 7 months have been so enjoyable and the accomplishments I've felt have been so rewarding. At my big of almost mid-40s, I now take classes five days a week; I take Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Praise, West African, and Hip Hop. I also take PBT (pilates + ballet) & their Stretch class. All beginner level and I moved onto my first intermediate class for Tap. Every week I'm excited to see what is in store for me. As someone who works from home, this place not only gets me more active, but allows me an amazing social connection & networking experience with likeminded individuals. You can tell how much Alyssa loves what she does and she hires & surrounds herself with people who care just as much. I hope I'll be able to participate here so long that I move on over to the "Silver" class for the "more seasoned" crowd hahaha. This place is just different. Dance Arts Collaborative is definitely the top dance studio in the Doylestown and Central Bucks…read moreregion. There are many studios to choose from but I chose DAC. Firstly, they are the top technique school in the whole area. In researching studios for my Granddaughter, I discovered that all the teachers are highly educated in their fields of dance with backgrounds with Boston Ballet and Pennsylvania Ballet ( now known as the Philadelphia Ballet) Being a competition school, DAC always places high at these competitions and never fails to get the overall Technique Award. Teachers are knowledgeable and caring and all are talented choreographers. Students will come away well educated in dance as well as developing self-confidence. As a former professional ballerina, I could have chosen any number of schools but my choice for my Granddaughter is DAC.

Senseis Alaa and Kristin have built a warm and encouraging community of students over a wide range of age, skill, and background. They're knowledgeable and passionate about their sport and they put so much care and attention into their instruction. The dojo is clean and well laid out and there's a well-equipped strength studio upstairs that I can use when my kids are in class. Watching my little kids progress both athletically and socially in class has been so rewarding. And I'm making some progress in my own training, too, which is extremely gratifying for this old mom! Having a world class judo coach in our sleepy little neighborhood is such a privilege. I'd encourage anyone curious to stop in and check it out!
