Many drivers on that road, for some reasons, either does not how to drive or does not pay any attention on the road while they are driving. And yes, as luck will have it, I got rear ended by a young driver who apparently decided not to slow down or stop in a rush hour bumper to bumper traffic. Luckily, my Prius held up and absorbed most of the impact and I was not seriously hurt. Since Florida is a no fault state, I had to pay for most of my medical bills. I wanted to make sure to protect myself and not get suited by the other driver, so I decided to hire a lawyer. I have acquired their service before in a different matter and I totally felt comfortable for them to handle my case. The lawyers and the staff in this firm are all professionals. As it turns out, I did suffer a herniated discs but luckily I do not feel any severe pain. At the end, through their persistent and hard work, even though it took a while, I was finally able to get a settlement where I think its reasonable. My experience with Kanner & Pintaluga has been completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I was involved in a car accident and trusted them to represent me, but it's been over a year and a half without a single update on my case. I've called numerous times, left messages, sent emails--nothing. Not one call back. It's unacceptable for a law firm to treat clients this way, especially when dealing with something as serious as an accident that impacts your health and daily life. It's clear they don't care about your situation or making any real effort to help. I absolutely do not recommend them. If you value your time, your health, and your peace of mind, find a firm that actually cares.
