He put the spare tire on for us and advised us to either return to Rawlins or continue on to Rock Springs where there would be more tire options. He had sold his last one that morning. We were on the side of the highway for more than 3 hours in the summer heat alongside a heavily traveled highway route. We were all quickly reminded of how technology and "efficiencies" can fail us but the power of a kind, generous human being will always prevail.
