Scenic views of East London and the water are fabulous atop the bridge. The bridge is high enough for large ships to pass under. The climb to the top of the bridge is about five or six flights and is difficult if you are carrying anything. I think there may be an elevator, but I'm not sure how it would operate. The bridge connects foot traffic between Royal Wharf and East London. Restaurants, entertainment venues and a Tube stop are located directly north of the bridge. There is no charge to use the bridge.

Also a lot avaliable for disabled kids and adults, ICT disability suite including wheelchair-accessible desks. They also have alot of clubs during the day and evening which include a homework club. Great plce to go and chill out and study as its very quiet and relaxing.

The visit includes a 22 acre park and you can see some of the structure from the inside along with information about the water itself and some of the species that live in the water. The complex is in London itself but not anywhere downtown so you'll have to get there via a taxi or possibly the tube although I'm not 100% sure if it goes all the way out there - I visited this with my middle school years ago. It was fun and definitely something different that most tourists overlook.

It's good for children really there are interactive games to play which are on the walls and there are a lot of different buttons to press which kept me going for ages. It did not take long to get there but it is not very well sign posted. It did not take long to get round about 30mins, but there was a film which we watched which was about the building of the barrier.

The Queen's House is located near the National Maritime Museum and the Royal Observatory. It is a…read morebeautiful 17th century house that has been home to a number of queens. Again, like most of the London area museums, admission is FREE. We took a self-guided tour of the house. We visited in October (off-season) and the house was not crowded nor did we need tickets in advance. I'd suggest, however, that during the busier summer season you might want to make reservations. The furnishings and art are stunning. The decor is beautiful. We spent about an hour in the Queen's House.

Admission is free, so you really have no excuse. It was originally built as a present from King James I to Danish-born Queen Anne. Apparently the king uttered profanities in front of her when he accidentally shot one of his favorite hunting dogs. Wow, she sounds like a real Meghan Markle. Royal guilt must be in the bloodlines. The resulting house has been refurbished many times over, and it's quite nice with each room featuring a dizzying array of art from traditional portraits of Elizabeth I to an arresting Kehinde Wiley painting called "Ship of Fools" (photo: https://yelp.to/u5cl20xBM2). All the furnishings were impressive, but the architecture is what resonates the most starting with the Great Hall with its geometric black-and-white marble flooring. However, the Tulip Staircase was definitely the main attraction. It was the first geometric self-supporting spiral staircase in Britain and quite the architectural statement...don't you agree?
