I've passed it many time and didn't really see their small signs. We knew the Starbucks was no longer there, and truly, this addition blows away its previous tenet by a country mile. We had a few cocktails - their hatch chili margarita was phenomenal. I'm a fan of hatch chilis and this was truly yummy - flavor forward. He enjoyed his twist on an old fashioned. Using Tempranillo wine in the simple syrup balanced the whiskey beautifully. And oh my word, their food! We ordered a meatball flatbread and went on to add their artichoke dip as well. This isn't bar food but rather really well done plates. I loved that the artichoke dip was served with fresh veggies along with buttered crisps. Love! The vibe here? While it was a bit loud at times, this only reflected all the laughter and folks enjoying their start to the weekend. I'm a fan of simple, minimalist but classy touches and they nailed it on this aspect too. Staff were also amazingly friendly, attentive and super helpful. They felt like old friends very quickly. I see us here many, many nights in the future and you can bet we'll be grabbing coffee here too. What an amazing addition to Lakewood. Well done.

Other than that, it was fine. It was a bit pricey but that's the price of quality. One thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the music. There was loud EDM playing. Lots of different office sizes makes for a variety of companies in different stages, which can be really helpful as a startup. I have worked from Cobalt many days and I really love how much work I can get done in the quiet and friendly space. Though I…read morehaven't worked at other coworking spaces, I have found Cobalt and their staff to be quite helpful for all of our needs. Move in was easy, and needs that we had upon our move-in were addressed quickly. The space itself has a modern warehouse feel to it, which is great for creative and start-up type businesses. The location is fantastic adjacent to great restaurants and amenities. And, the amenities within the facilities are good (not great like some of the expensive coworking spaces in Denver) but expanding. The kegerator is admittedly my favorite perk. I do wish there was a bit more encouraged collaboration between tenants (like happy hours), but we've only been here a month, so perhaps something is coming up. The space does what it needs for our business, and I'm happy that we've found Cobalt!

Nicole, my daughter's main contact/go to person was so easy to work with and at the ready should we have any questions before and the day of the wedding. She really put my daughter at ease in making everything prefect. Also, the staff were amazing from the bartender to the servers. The recommended vendors for food (food got many compliments), DJ, photographer, etc my daughter all used. It was nice to have a one stop shop where the preferred vendors know the layout of the place. Everything ran so smoothly on wedding day even my husband commented! I highly recommend Mount Vernon Canyon Club for your wedding and ask for Nicole.

The complimentary breakfast was also a highlight, with a nice spread of options that made it easy to start the day off right. My only suggestion would be to add carpeting in the guest rooms. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely return

The service was fantastic, from the front desk to the taproom. Everyone was so welcoming, and you can tell they love working there and love dogs. The vibe is mountain town, with mountain views, firepits, flowers, a patio, and picnic tables. There's a dog park just steps from the hotel too. The room was wonderful with a yellow couch and a nice bathroom, and I slept like a baby. There was a wedding that night and the whole crowd seemed to be having a great time, so the place felt really chill. The key is a round Eddy chip instead of a card. We got a barkcuterie board for the dogs, bandanas, Eddy mugs, a nice do not disturb sign, and cupcakes for me. Tod and Rosa loved the board. There's a vending machine downstairs with food and treats for dogs. In the taproom, my favorites were the Smoked Old Fashioned (smoked, served on a rock) and the Eddy Burger. The dogs joined me after dinner and for breakfast, where there was a cereal bar, juices, and a coffee station on every floor. Perfect staycation for dogs.

You should know that with the open kitchen it does get warm in there, which is pretty nice when there is a nip in the air. The entrance is in the elbow of the building. Don't try to go in the event space because you probably won't get in and you don't want to miss out. I ordered the Italian and it was awesome. If you get the opportunity to eat there, I'd recommend it. The sandwich/sub is toasted, so by the time I got back and delivered our sandwiches, it was just warm. I'm sure it would have been even better freshly toasted. I also got to try the reuben and the same also applies. Try to eat it as soon as you get it.
