So i got a Groupon as a gift for my husband for Christmas and finally had the time to go check this place out today. Made an appointment about a month ago at 12pm. Walked in about 10 minutes before our appointment, removed our shoes and waited about 15 minutes to be noticed from anyone.Nothing. Finally decided to knock on one of their doors and 2 girls talked to us and said "ur appointment is for 12:30,ok? Thanks" I said "I'm sure my appointment was for 12 but it's fine ". We waited until 12:40 and nobody cared to come and say if we needed anything or "sorry we'll come to you shortly ". We decided to leave. But then, think about it,how could you have a couples massage in this place?? I'm sure the girls might be talented on what they do but their costumer service sucks and they need to upgrade this place!! Never ever coming back

Because I had a Groupon, and therefore had paid for a facial, I kept calling and finally was able to talk with a live person. The day of my appointment: getting upstairs to the spa was difficult for me because of severe COPD: I had to go up a steep flight of stairs, stopping at every step, trying to breathe. I finally managed to get upstairs and was warmly greeted by two charming ladies. After checking in and getting ready for my facial with Shay, I was told that she would knock before coming back into the room. I waited. And waited. And waited. Feeling abandoned, I called out: "Hello?" No response. A few minutes later, I again called out: "Hello?" Still no response. Finally, Shay returned to the room and brusquely told me that I can't be shouting because there were other people there, getting massages. Hmmmm. No explanation or apology for the length of time it took her to respond to me. The facial was WONDERFUL!! Shay truly has magic fingers and is an extremely talented aesthetician. But I do have one more quibble: everything was done in near total silence. Shay speaks so softly that I had trouble hearing her, the few times she spoke. Plus, there was no music (spa, Zen, meditation, relaxation, etc.) at all, which I've never before encountered when getting a massage or facial. There is ALWAYS soothing music playing! Except here, at Visions of Healing. I don't think I'll return; the negatives outweigh the positives.

I admit that I have never been a fan of formalized physical therapy. To me it seemed like a waste of time and money. As a runner I knew what i needed to do to rehab myself and did not know what else formalized PT could do for me. Recently though I developed a nasty case of right hip tendonitis that refused to go away and so after much consideration I decided to bite the bullet and see if maybe formalized PT could "cure" me. It also helped that my running czar (Mark C) said "what do you have to lose". I have to say after going here for about a month I am happy to report that I am much better and although not "cured" I am on the road to recovery. All of the therapist's, especially Helen who has been working with me, have been extremely helpful and always have a positive attitude. After an initial assessment during my first appointment I was prescribed exercises do during my appointments and on my own. Whst has been even more more therapeutic has been the assisted stretching and massage that has helped immensely by really getting down to the trouble spots. I was concerned that I would be given the same exercises and left to my own devices BUT every time I have gone to an appointment and something changes for the better or worse my therapy program has also been modified. I feel that they treat me as a runner and are working not only to get me better but to run pain free It sucks getting hurt but I am glad that I went. I have learned some new things to add to my routine.

When it came time for PT on my right foot, 1 year later, there was no hesitation that I would go here. I would recommend this place to everyone! I believe in small businesses and being treated like family instead of another number in line.
