History
Established in 2025.
Connecticut Security Training Center was legally formed in January of 2025. After an extensive review process, our lesson plan was approved by the State of CT in June and we were officially in business. It was a very exciting day, opening that envelope and reading the "APPROVED" letter. We signed a lease in a centrally located area in Rocky Hill and got to work building our training center. About a month later, we were ready to go live and held our first CT guard card class! We had a great turnout for our first class and we were very proud of that. One of our first class graduates was actually hired by a security company just four days after he graduated! We look forward to the future - we have a ton of projects on the horizon and expansion plans and we can't wait to see where we are 3 months from now, a year from now, 5 years from now.
Meet the Business Owner: Jeff R.
I started this business to give aspiring security officers the resources I never had when I first joined this industry 13 years ago. The security industry is overall a severely undertrained industry; I want to put my decade-plus of experience behind others to help them succeed in their roles as security professionals. Training others in the security field is something I truly enjoy doing - as the saying goes, "You never work a day in your life when you're doing something you love."
