Amazing facility! The building is beautiful. Situated in downtown Hartford. Large enough to hold a huge convention of smaller ones, depending on need. I have been here for larger functions with several thousand people. Modern and very nice.

Attended the Vincent Van Gogh and Monet Exhibit with the Yelp Elite group and it was beautiful and very moving. I heard from others that have attended others that it was cut down in size from 3 years ago but it was still nice. I never got a chance to see this exhibit before so it was great. At the end of the exhibit in the big room that we were watching from beginning to end of each painters life was fascinating. There was a gift shop that you had to pass through if you wanted something to get.

came here last night for the Beyond Van Gogh/Monet Immersive Art experience (a YELP Elite event) and had the best time!! I am so glad Lanasha was able to put this together! Thank you!! It was such a fun experience and I highly recommend it to everyone! The convention center itself was easy to find, had a parking garage attached to it and wasn't confusing to navigate.

Came here for glow Hartford event. The building was clean and staff was friendly. Plenty of parking available in garage attached.

Beyond Van Gogh immersive experience was AMAZING!!! I love art and Van Gogh has always been an artist I really truly admire. Learning about there history and how there art became iconic, there were some facts about him that I did not know. That truly gave me a different perspective to look at his art in a different way and appreciate it more. We are so lucky that were able to witness Gogh's masterpiece. Again, this was all taken on my birthday and my friend was so kind to get a ticket for me. Had so much fun! I'm really happy that this event returned to Connecticut. It runs through May - June 29, when you can book your tickets! Bring a friend, your hubby, or yourself. Its worth it!

Came here for a beer fest event. I appreciate there was plenty of parking. The facility was nice, clean, and spacious. The staff around were all friendly. Would definitely look out for future events.

Always the top notch place to attend conferences and other events. The food and wait staff are amazing along with the audio-visual technicians that they hire to help support us as presenters.

I don't know much about the Connecticut convention center, but I know it's a great place to have a craft beer festival. This place is huge and held over 60 different breweries inside! And it could have held more easily. The place is spacious and clean, and the bathrooms are also very clean. You might get lost if you don't follow the signs, so make sure to pay attention. Had a great time here, and maybe soon enough, I'll have another reason to come back.

About the last weekend in January, the convention center is like IKEA for RVs.

Even if whatever huge show you attend fills up the conventions space, you will still have no trouble finding a restroom beneath the large icons in each corner. You can take the escalators or elevators up to the exhibit hall or stick with the healthier stairs route. Hand sanitizers are placed throughout the entry and halls. There is even a refreshment stands at the back of the hall includes basic beers and hard seltzer. Suddenly buying a new RV is easier! The parking garage is huge. Our diesel truck had no trouble with the clearance, but there is an outdoor lot for extra oversized vehicles. Best of all, aside from walkable hotel proximity, Bears BBQ and other tasty spots are just across the street, and the around the corner river walk can help you unload all that exhibit hall stimulation.

Opening Day pics from National Geographic's Beyond King Tut- The Immersive Experience where we were able to meet ancient Egyptian gods like Ra and Anubis, descend into King Tut's burial chamber and join his quest for immortality. It's running August 11 - October 15, 2023 at the Connecticut Convention Center. While you are there, you can relive the thrill of one of the greatest discoveries of all time - the king's tomb with all his treasures waiting inside, reclaimed from the desert sand after 3,300 years. Explore nine galleries within the experience, wind through the story of a young boy whose name still looms large and discover how he changed the ancient and modern-worlds. VIP tickets include the Beyond King Tut VR Experience, which I did and it was so cool. Definitely make a stop here before October :)

75% ignored this. What a disgrace.

We went to the Home Show today and two things really ticked me off. First off, there was a "pre-pay your parking" policy in effect. Pay $9 before you even enter the garage. I guess it doesn't matter if you stay for 6 minutes or 6 hours. In our case, the Home Show was so disappointing we were done with it in 45 minutes, so that $9 sure seemed like a rip-off. The second sore point was their mask "policy". There are signs everywhere https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=oby6HdtHBcvry2ijAbQvfw&userid=cVrM2BvOvPV0Vi_rC8kepQ saying that "per city ordinance, face masks are required at all times". So we wore our masks as directed, but i was really pissed off to see that 75% of every person I saw (including Convention Center employees) downright ignored the very signs that were posted everywhere. Same with the vendors and customers. What's the use of a sign that leaves zero room for misinterpretation if the Convention Center doesn't even enforce their own policy? Why post that sign in the first place? There was also a gaming show at the convention center at the same time, and that brought in a lot of unvaccinated kids. So all in all, we didn't have a very good time at the Convention Center today.

I was in Hartford for 90s Con, which was being held at the convention center. The convention center was nothing too impressive, as I've been to much larger and nicer ones on the east coast (Javits & Philly). Unless I have to go, I don't plan on retuning.

Gorgeous space, it caters to many kinds of events. Over the years I've been coming to the convention center for expos, demos, annual meetings, kids circus ...there is plenty of parking although it gets kinda tricky to walk from the parking lot to the indoors. The space is very clean and well maintained. If your a coffee addict no worries there is a Starbucks in the Marriott hotel attached to the center.

When the crew races are there it is extremely packed so it's not really a good time to take a leisurely stroll as there are literally thousands of people there. The parking was incredibly convenient and directions to the Boathouse itself were very clear. We did have a small spot of difficulty finding the door to go to the upper level however. Once upstairs, the view of the CT River, East Hartford, and Hartford was spectacular. The late summer afternoon sun plus faint breeze made for a perfectly comfortable time. People mingled at standing tables and around the benches on the upper deck (and there were a respectable number of benches, which isn't often the case). Inside the event space were polished wooden floors and high ceilings. A coworker noted the restrooms were somewhat oddly placed behind a long hallway closed off by a door and there were some cobwebs in the window frames, but otherwise the space was quite nice. The staff at the bar on the deck poured wine just shy of the adjective "liberal" which was great. However, some other coworkers had to request adjustments of the food arrangement to prevent cross-contamination for those with allergies (adjustments were made promptly). The food - seasonal tapenade for appetizers and build-your-own pasta bar for the main - were well done otherwise with a good array of options. On the whole, a respectable event space on a scenic river. There were other groups actively using the rowing space/lower level, but you could barely tell because the upper level was high enough away.

I called, they gave me a quote and several days to decide. Once I decided, they send me a contract through email and I mailed back the contract with the check. The place is amazingly beautiful. The room was decorated very nicely. The staff were all very young, probably high school students and greeted us outside in the cold. Once everyone was inside, they service our food. The scones were delicious, tasted home made and the jams and creams were equally tasty. The sandwiches were okay, a little dry but the deserts were just as good as the scones. My only beef about the whole experience was that they used Stash tea bags for the afternoon tea. I mean anyone could buy those tea from the supermarkets. If you go to a place designated for afternoon tea, you would expect at least some loose leaf teas allowing the customers to smell, appreciate, and enjoy all the different tea flavors. If they had loose leaf tea, it would elevate the whole experience ten fold. Also, they had some sort of punch on the side, with no explanation and the punch pitcher did not work so guests couldn't really enjoy it until the very end. The house can host two parties, one on the second floor and the other one on the main floor. The owners live in the same building. There are plenty of parking at the house and also across the street because the owners own that too.

She was always available to speak and no detail was too small for an instant response. The day of the shower went seamlessly! I arrived early to add personal touches, but the entire space was set up for me as soon as I arrived and the staff was so accommodating in helping with anything I needed. As the guests began to arrive, they helped to greet everyone and it was both causal and formal at the same time as the staff passed around breakfast pastries for our brunch and refilled mimosas for everyone to grab upon arrival. When it came time to move into the next room for brunch, one of the two waiters working with us that day made the announcement and helped to guide everyone to their tables. The tables were set up beautifully! We chose to have the "mismatched tea cups" instead of the white ones and every guest commented how adorable and unique they were. The waiters brought a box of assorted tea bags over for each person to choose and everyone loved it! Originally, I planned to use the silk flowers as the centerpieces for the tables, but we upgraded to fresh cut. Even the silk flowers were beautiful and elegant- Corrine has beautiful taste in every piece of decor. Throughout the entire event everyone kept asking how I found out about The Tiffany Juliet House. Everyone was so impressed with the amazing service, the attention to detail ( the light fixtures, the carpet, the window treatments, molding- everything is beautiful inside). I cannot thank Corrine and her team enough for helping to make my friend's bridal shower such a wonderful and memorable event for everyone. They went above and beyond in planning and executing a flawless day and I can go on and on about how spectacular everything was- the food included!
