This is the best non denominational church that I have been to. Pastor Devon knows how to preach and definitely has been touched by the hand of God. I cry almost every time I go there. Also they have a free coffee area which is Amazing! I grew up in Mount Juliet. I live in Hermitage now and I definitely spend money to Uber to attend, even though Uber is expensive. This is how powerful the church is. You can watch a service online obviously it's not gonna be the same as in person experience. read more

If you love the word of God, then you're going to love the way this pastor teaches and preaches! Everyone was friendly, and the worship music was excellent and of a humble spirit if you have young children, they have lots to do. I really liked this church when we first started going. The people and staff are friendly. The worship team are wonderful and energetic. The pastor's message is good and on point. I wish this could have been our forever church, but after a few weeks it was obvious that it would not be. The most important aspect is to connect. They have some random connect groups, but nothing for my 18 year old son who is going through some major life changes in becoming a young adult going to college. Too old for youth group and too young for men's group. Their only option was a two part DNA class for volunteering. He could use some mentoring and guidance from others besides just his parents. They also don't have any Sunday classes for children older than 5th grade. They expect my 6th grader to listen to an adult message without becoming bored. He did try his age group meeting on Wednesday night. He said they sat around and prayed, but didn't do anything fun and engaging. He compared it to babysitting and didn't want to return. These are children who've grown up going to The Crossing church back in Florida before we moved to Tennessee so they are definitely making a comparison. Another issue is that many in the congregation don't take the message and going to church for spiritual growth seriously. They would rather talk and visit, deal with their children, and be on their cell phones during the message which causes a very distracting atmosphere for others who are there for spiritual growth from the message. read more
