Wilkerson's handled my father's funeral in 1999. My mother made the decision to have my father…read morecremated. She later called and asked for a family viewing. We entered the room and my father was in a corrugated brown cardboard box with no drape, padding -- nothing. It was horrifying. Wilkerson's explanation was that my mother chose not to buy a casket --- why would you if you chose cremation? No one explained to her that for the viewing he would be a box without even a drape. A close friend's family is in the funeral business in Indiana and said this never would have happened in their family funeral home. Our experience was scarring.

I just moved from Greenville to Hickory, NC, a few weeks back by myself and had what would've been…read moreone of the most horrible experiences of my life if it were not for this man, Omar. So much so that I needed to post this for any other single women in this group. As a single woman, certain situations can be a little scary when you need to put your trust in someone you don't know. I moved to Greenville for my ex and was left to relocate completely by myself. I came across Omar's company on ThumbtackPros and genuinely thought I had everything under control. I was COMPLETELY WRONG. This man is legitimately the only reason I could move, and he ended up being a source of emotional support throughout the journey. If this wasn't incredible enough, I accidentally left my work MacBook behind, and this man found it in my things and SHIPPED IT TO ME so I wouldn't have to make the drive back. I genuinely could not have made this move without him and was so completely blown away with what an incredible person Omar is, and how much he actually CARES about what he does and the people he's helping. If anyone is in need of moving or hauling services of any kind, especially my ladies who need someone they can TRUST, I cannot put enough words together to recommend this man enough!

Soooo, Children's World, Greenville blvd…read more As we were leaving for daycare this morning, my 2 year old told me that his teacher, Ms. Keosha, pinched him on his bottom and told him to go to sleep. I went to the daycare, calmly spoke with the assistant director and she asked my son questions. He told her the same thing he told me. They said they would talk to the teacher and call me. In the interim, I contacted DSS to file a complaint and was advised to contact the police to have an official report as this would be considered an assault/abuse. I did that. The police went to the daycare as they stated they would. The director, Michelle, called me and practically scolded me for calling the police. She said that the footage shows the teacher putting her hand towards his bottom and pulling it away quickly. The teacher said she didnt pinch him but she pushed his butt down because it was "in the air" and was wiggling. Pushing his butt down would help him be still to go to sleep . For a good 15 minutes out of the 20 something minutes that I spoke to Michelle, I kept asking that we focus on the investigation rather than the fact that I filed a police report. She basically said that I was the one that called them so I made it part of the conversation. She then proceeded to tell me that since I involved the authorities instead of waiting for her to investigate and call me, effective immediately, he is no longer enrolled in their daycare. We paid them for the month. She would let me know whether or not they will be able to provide a refund. I'm absolutely shocked with this entire situation but I really feel that I did the right thing as a parent. Even if she only pushed his butt down "quickly", laying on his cot awake and wiggling didn't warranted physical redirection of pushing his bottom down to make him lay flat. The fact that she said she observed her hand go toward him and pulling away quickly, to me, suggests it was pushed forcefully if that is what happened. But my child knows the differnce between and pinch and a push. The way the director has handled this is appalling.

Plus my parents had super large and heavy furniture/ they had the right equipment to pick it up without damage to the furniture or the guys. Plus they were polite, neat packers and respectful of my parents items and just people that you would trust in your home. They made my parents feel so comfortable and as their daughter, I greatly appreciate these guys and will be using them in the future. Oh and their truck is super clean and large - it's not just guys and a UHaul. Also the price was exactly what was told to us and they did exactly what they said they were going to do and beyond. I called and interviewed everyone in town and felt most comfortable with them...it was the right choice. Never thought we would enjoy a moving experience but nothing but positive things to say about that team. Thank you Rudy.
