You might have bought cake here a while ago, and now you are wondering whether something has changed. Well, it has. On the former premises of Rob&Stephens you will now find Niko Lecuiller and his tasty creations. Some of the recipes remain the same, others are completely new and some have tastier ingredients than before - Niko only uses free range eggs, for example.
I found all the cakes to be quite good, while the shop owner is always friendly and approachable. I certainly feel very welcome with all and any questions that I might have.
As I said, the cakes are good. New creations pop out of the oven throughout the day, so it pays to ask if something will be done in a few minutes.
The shop itself is at the time of writing a little bit chaotic, which, given the need to set into a routine, is understandable. I will definitely pick up some cake in the near future, and so should you. read more
