Our experience with this company was nothing but a waste of time…read more We basically told them what we wanted to have done, we were pretty clear, upon our first meeting we were unimpressed as they missed all our points. Like covering up the Mt. Hood View with a flat patio cover. They did not provide us with any drawings that represented or matched any of our discussions. Their 3D drawings were nothing more than the Monopoly buildings with no details. Their creativity was extremely limited and it was a struggle to try to get them to listen to our needs. In the end we could not use any drawings they provided to us. They pushed us to pay for schematics before we even received a drawing we could use. When we pushed them back on this, it became clear that they wanted to farm this out to another contractor and had not intention of building it ever. We would not recommend them to others.

We have referred friends in the neighborhood who have also been extremely pleased with their work. Green Home literally saved our ass when when we noticed a huge, very concerning leak, in our roof. They promptly responded and we out within 24 hours to asses the situation. We have an expensive log-style home outside of White Salmon, that we could not risk with just anyone. They did a fantastic job, not only repairing the leak but assessing the entire house for any other construction mishaps that need to be mended. I would highly recommend them for anyone in the area! These guys are OUTSTANDING!

They showed up right away and fixed everything in just a few days--work that had already dragged on for weeks with someone else. His crewmember Ben was especially kind, really listened to what I needed, and went above and beyond my expectations. Mike is excellent at communicating, always responds to texts quickly, and his pricing is very fair for the Gorge. What stands out most is their consistency--they've now done a few projects for us, and every time they've shown up, completed the work on budget, and delivered quality results. I highly recommend Mike and his team if you're looking for reliable, responsive, and honest contractors in the area.

We were connected with Centerville Construction by one of our neighbors, who had the back yard of…read moretheir home fenced off for their dogs. They spoke very highly of Tom (Durant, the owner) and his team. When we contacted Tom to provide a quote in early 2025, he was at our home within a few days so we could "walk" the job and get an understanding of what was needed to complete the project. Tom proved to be very thorough and broke down every aspect of the work and materials and equipment required. Whether you are technical in nature - or not at all - Tom is able to explain it in a manner anyone can understand. Over the next week or so, we communicated back and forth to hammer out some of the details, make some changes to the project and finalize the deal so they could begin breaking ground. At no time during our preliminary discussions did Tom try to upsell or oversell anything - he wanted to know exactly what we wanted for our fence and gate, and that is what he built. He was always very forthcoming and straightforward with us during the project, as well as being professional, patient and gracious. One of the strengths of Centerville Construction is the knowledge of the land and topography around this area, as there is a lot of rock right at the surface, and/or up to 4 or 5 feet under the surface. This requires some specialized equipment and construction methods, especially when coupled with the high winds and extreme temperatures in the summer and winter, to ensure a well-built, long-lasting fence. We are very pleased with our fence and the overall body of work Tom and his team provided. We have seen some of their other work around the area, from simple ranch fences to decorative and elaborate gate entries, and it is clear that Centerville Construction can tackle any kind of fence job to meet your needs.

Another excavation company promised to grade our land and leave it with good water drainage. They did not keep their word and overcharged us. Our property looked awful when they left. It was heart breaking. Still in need, I was driving when I saw Zeller excavation working on a commercial site. I pulled over and asked if they had any time to look at our project. They were honest about being very busy for weeks, but that they would come by and take a look. Sean was the man with Zeller that I talked to. He gave us an estimate and did a lot of the work. Two other men came by at one time or another. They were all polite and hard working. As to the work done: Sean did an outstanding job and went above beyond to make sure we finally had the right shape, grade, and texture to our property. He kept his promise to us. Based on his work and outstanding delivery of service I would highly recommend Zeller Excavation.

They were prompt, reliable, and extremely helpful in fixing my door which was no longer moving down. They replaced the electric tape that the installer had used with plastic caps when they fixed the wiring, inspected the whole system and serviced it, made the door tension less so as a single older woman I could more easily move the door by hand (which was a major pain when the door stopped working automatically), took time to explain the mechanism more thoroughly to me and answered questions I had had since installation 13 years ago.
