Working with Erica was a game changer for our family. The tricks that had worked with our daughter didn't click with our son and he never developed good sleep habits. At 6 months he was up several times a night and napping badly -- the poor little guy looked strung out. A friend met Erica at one of her local lectures and passed her along. Erica was incredibly helpful when we were tired, cranky, and desperate to help our younger son sleep better. Two of our neighbors had worked with Erica on some sleep problems about a year ago, and recommended that we contact her to get some help. I contacted Erica at Confident Parenting right about when my second child was 8mos old. We were exhausted parents. Our older one was coming to sleep in our bed and the little one wasn't sleeping through the night, waking up almost every other hour crying. It also took us and our nanny almost an hour to rock her to sleep. I was hesitant to spend money to get my child to sleep but exhaustion was affecting everybody in the family. Erica was sympathetic and easy to speak to from the get-go. I described my situation and she asked me questions regarding the family and my comfort level. What surprised me was that I didn't have to let her cry it out if I didn't want to. She developed a plan based on my specific needs and comfort. My daughter was 2 years and 2 months old when I called Erica for help. She was waking up a minimum of two times per night and needed help going to sleep.
