It was easy to book online with Jenny and also find parking in the neighborhood when I arrived. The check in process was a bit confusing but once I found my text confirmation with the front door code it all made sense. This is a coop and each therapist handles their own clients/appointments. Jenny was ready on time and gave me an incredibly relaxing massage with lavender oils and hot stones. I actually dozed off so that tells you it was wonderful. What a great experience here. The rates are reasonable and the house is incredibly cozy!

We tried contacting several spas and massage providers who either didn't have the availability or didn't respond back. Finally, I texted Metta on the number listed on their website and they responded within a few hours. We were able to schedule sessions for the time and day we wanted via text which was very convenient. My masseuse called out sick the day of so I was paired with Forest. My boyfriend was paired with Tav. Both providers were friendly and accomodating. My boyfriend LOVED his massage with Tav. He said he dozed off a few times and could see himself coming back every month - such a great sign for someone new to massage. I enjoyed my session with Forest as well and left feeling relaxed. A few things to note: they don't provide couples massages but instead do tandem massages. Meaning, you're in different rooms. This wasn't a dealbreaker for us but could be for others depending on your preference. They also still require masks here. We brought our own surgical masks but were asked to use their K95 masks they provided. This was a little uncomfortable during the service, especially while facing down, but I can understand the need if they have a lot of immunocompromised clients or staff members.

They were very responsive and contacted my insurance for verification also. They found I was only supposed to pay a copay, but instead of returning the $106 I was overcharged, they said they'd apply my $$$ to future sessions. Uh, ok, but I truly don't like being told what's going to happen to my $$$ when someone else makes a clerical error. I should have been asked what I'd like to do. That said, otherwise, I like HoneyB Wellness. The therapist I was assigned is great. We have a lot of work to do because of trauma I've experienced past and present, but she seems up to the task. She listens well, she's adept at guiding the conversation, and she makes me feel seen and validated. And I'm able to see her in person which definitely makes a difference. So while I wasn't a fan of the billing situation, I'm glad to have 7 more sessions upcoming. To mental health and wellness!

For approximately the past three months, there has been ongoing trash accumulation and illegal dumping in the rear alley serving the property. Bulk items and loose debris have remained unaddressed despite multiple reports to the City, and the conditions have not improved. In addition, there was a recent late-night disturbance involving individuals associated with the property. This included loud yelling in the street, people entering neighboring property (including a garage area), and public urination. At one point, an individual exposed himself in view of others, including a minor. Multiple calls were made due to safety concerns, but the situation continued for hours. This is an otherwise quiet, owner-occupied block, and the repeated issues tied to this property raise concerns about sanitation, safety, and overall property management. I hope steps are taken to address these issues and prevent further disturbances.
