this review is of 2 experiences today. this morning, i…read morecalled them for the first time. very prompt, excellent service. cab arrived within the range of time provided by the person who answered at the main number. car was acceptably clean. fare was quoted by the person at main number and consistent with what the driver said as i got in. he drove very well (i.e. safely and not like your typical moronic philly drivers). that was a 4-star experience. then came this afternoon. i called the main number at around 3 pm. i was told that my location was a bit out of the way, so a car would get to me in 20-25 minutes or so. car driver called me about 18 min later and told me he was 25 min out....ugh. i said fine and that i would wait. i called him at 3:59 pm to see where he was. he nonchalantly told me he was far away and stuck in traffic. he was not sure how far he was. he suggested canceling this call and contacting the main number again. i did and the same person who answered around 3 pm told me that she had no luck getting in touch with the car. she would get another car to me asap. i waited until 4:30 pm...no call. i called the main number again and she told me that she was trying to get someone to me....i said okay. i then called another company who assured me that they could get to me within a few minutes BUT their fare quote was much higher. i just called la primera back and told them to cancel. i made other travel arrangements. she did apologize...and that was that. now, i am debating on whether or not to give them another try. with the above, i give them 2 out of 5 stars....

I needed to coordinate a ride for my elderly mother to go to a medical appointment, from Montgomery…read moreCounty to Philadelphia. The ride was easy to book online but if you need to change the reservation, you have to call a number and it's a guy picking up who doesn't answer the phone with the name of the company or anything, and he's also very abrupt. The driver was 15 minutes late picking up my mom - no notification - which made her frantic with anxiety and I had to stop her from driving herself. Pluses were that he was apparently a good driver and they made it in time but still: unnecessary agita in terms of booking and the lack of communication about being delayed.

We have trusted Line Limousine to be our airport transfer car service of choice over the years and…read morehave never been disappointed - Now I can add that they are also our special event car service of choice because today they helped to pull off the most spectacular surprise for my son's birthday and we will never forget it. They were able to work with me and my price point, and despite it being so close to the holidays and also a last minute idea - they found the perfect vehicle to escort me, my son and his 3 best friends to his birthday party in the city. Their driver was exceedingly professional, and when the kids got into the car there were balloons, ambient lighting, interactive iPads with game and music options, a crown for the birthday boy and they even gave him a gift which was above and beyond expectations. I was also able to relax, which I never would have done driving on my own with 4 boys into the city, and feel safe as we got to his party destination on time, and in style! When it was time to head out our driver was right there, ready to take us back home. There were waters and even gum - I could go on and on. I have used other transportation services in the area and they are fine - they arrive on time, we would get to where we needed to go but there was never any special touch despite it being so expensive. Everyone always says, you get what you pay for - but with Line Limo - we got WAY more than what we paid for - which by the way was significantly less than any other transportation service I contacted between Delaware Montgomery County PA and south NJ - including other KOP locations - we will recommend them to family/friends exclusively going forward. I have so much gratitude for the way they were able to put everything together to make my son's birthday so memorable and special. We will never forget this day!
