Amazing tacos and cool murals on the wall. The staff was very helpful. I definitely plan on going again.

1st thing that hits you about this restaurant is the wild colorful art on the walls. The bar is as colorful as the walls, interesting decor and very different from most restaurants. The food consists of various Tex-Mex bowls, tacos and burritos. I had the Sweet Heat a brisket taco wrapped in a flour soft + hard corn shell sweet and savory with a pineapple salsa and a habanero-mango sauce, slightly hot but very good, my 2nd Taco I had the Ooey-Gooey a chicken taco in a hard corn shell, it was good but between the two the Sweet Heat is still my favorite taco here. My wife had Lucy's Fire with a firecracker shell with roasted chicken with smoked cheddar and corn salsa, again good not great. Her 2nd taco was the Korean BBQ flour soft + hard corn shell with pulled pork and pickled jalapeños and pineapple salsa slightly hot but mostly sweet, a better than average taco. I've had the house and tomatillo salsas are good but with too thick for my taste nacho chips. The waiter we had looked pretty stretched as he covered most of the tables however he was nice and attentive. The bar had a nice selection of Mexican and local craft beers all served in mason jars. This is a multi state chain that is a cross between fast food and a sit down restaurant.

I'm on the road again! This time visiting Knoxville, TN! I just love trying out places I've never been. Where to begin??? I wonder what drugs they were on when they decided to paint all the walls this way??? It's is quite vibrant. Not a fan of the zodiac imagery, personally, but the art was well done for what it was....odd! Restaurant was clean. Staff friendly enough, but slow to get things, from the kitchen. The food! Well, to begin with, it was cold! The flavor was alright but beef was tough. Ordered the full size "tater tots" but only received the half order, thank goodness! The big round balls were not good! Like they took shredded potatoes and balled them up golf ball size and deep fried them. Flavorless! Anyway, we won't be visiting here again. Way too expensive for cold food, slow service, and bright decor.

Our server Chris was great and was very knowledgeable about the menu. The chips and salsa were excellent, and the tacos were even better! The inside of the restaurant has a very Austin Texas vibe! If you know about Austin, you know that tacos are second to none. So this place needs to stay here in Knoxville! Give this place a chance and you won't regret it!!

Food was good. Build your own taco or pre-made ones. They had no soft shell corn which was disappointing, but said they can make everything on the menu gluten-free. Cool art, good tacos. Unique flavors. Would come here again.

Our daughter took us here for dinner. The food was good, the ambiance was fun, but the service was slow. We had to wait for our check. To be fair, they did get pretty busy while we were there and they seemed to be understaffed. I got the steak heater, Dan got the Brisket Sweet Heat, and our daughter got one of the chicken bowls. Both tacos were good. We tasted each other's taco. I liked mine much better and Dan preferred his. The Heater steak taco had some crunch to it. I tasted Debi's bowl. The sauce tasted good, but she said it is mostly rice. The wall paintings created a fun atmosphere. It gets a little noisy, but sometimes that's fun, especially if everyone is having a good time. Happy Hour is 3 to 6. The discounts aren't enough to motivate me to go, but if I'm ever with people who want to go between 3 and 6, I will take any discount offered.

Fried tacos wrapped in corn tortillas!? Why not? They are so delicious and have a unique taste. Hands down, the Chef got creative in here! Check out their Happy hour deal: - 3 -6pm: $6 house Marg, $1 off tacos. Cool place in a strip mall, walls covered with art & graffiti.

Great place....super cool inside with all the murals. Upon entering restaurant, wife & I were warmly greeted. Our server, Zack, was fantastic. He had great suggestions for tacos, burritos or nachos. We decided to "build" our own nachos with Tex Mex ground beef, lettuce, tomato, pickled jalapeños and queso. We "sauced" it with house sauce and got 2 toppings on the side; Cilantro-Lime Aioli & Dirty Sauce (hot). Both sauces were good. Nachos were very very good. Would definitely return!

Nachos with chicken, green salsa, and don't forget the aïoli!

If you're in a nacho mood, you will not be disappointed. The portion is humongous! I love that I can pick any toppings I would like. I don't like my nachos to get soggy, so I ask for the queso on the side. You can get all the sauces you want either on top or on the side. If you're the type of person that wants it YOUR way, this is the place to go!

This place has a lot of artsie graffiti splash on every wall that has been meticulously painted by a handful of Knoxville artists. Well done! The roll up garage doors that are protected by a screen kept the breezes coming in and kept the bugs out. It was very clean inside and out, including the restrooms. Our server explained that the menu is primarily for a la carte dining; there are a few exceptions. The Margarita prices are outrageous $8.95 and beware, as you build your own taco, many of the options are additional pricing. We each had two tacos and a margarita and our bill was $58.47. Most of the tacos are spicy Hot so there were only a handful from which we could comfortably choose. We were told that each taco comes in a hard corn taco shell covered with a soft flour tortilla. We chose from their "Bud Box" where we could have two tacos and 1/2 helping each of dip. When the order arrived, one of my wife's tacos had only the corn taco shell. The server told us that this particular taco only comes with one taco shell. The tacos were good sans the one with only one shell. The tortilla chips were stale. (We dined at 2:13 pm so perhaps they were remnants from the lunch rush). When we got the bill, there were two sales tax charges - one for $2.31 and one for $1.66. There was a liquor tax charge of $2.68 which increased the actual price of our Margaritas to $10.29 each and an additional $1.00 charge for a 1/2 chorizo dip that was on the Bud Box menu. We were told that the chorizo dip, even though listed on the $12.00 Bud Box menu , was a $1 up charge. I was hoping for a great experience but was truly disappointed.

Tacos-Korean bbq, sweet heat, and chicken bacon ranch

This was our first time going and we enjoyed most of everything we tried! The four of us all got different tacos to try. The dips as an appetizer were guacamole, queso, and Mexican corn dip. All really amazing! Some of favorite tacos were the sweet heat, the blue dream, chicken bacon ranch(but I think it could use more sauce),and the cali green. The ambiance was really fun and our waiter Chris was wonderful!Something I would add from a customer perspective is about the margaritas, while they have plenty of tequila, the flavors seem to be weak. The strawberry didn't taste much like strawberry. But, we will definitely go back!

Margarita Flight

Let's start with the good - Super trendy decor, great location, and lots of parking. Great service, friendly manager, and delicious Margarita flight. Now why am I giving this chain based out of Ohio 3 stars? Tacos are a poor man's food. Tacos aren't meant to be $5 a taco.... Unless that taco is stuff with filet or super expensive meat. Chorizo? Pulled chicken? CHEAP! You should not be charging $5 for cheap meat. The tortilla chips are also super thick. They say it's so they hold their own under their sauces. But they aren't my thing. Overall, I won't be back. I'd rather go up the street to the more authentic Mexican joint.

Our daughter recommended this place for lunch. Quirky decor with interesting art work all over the walls. Service was slow but they were obviously understaffed. I got a brisket taco called Sweet Heat. It was tasty. Spouse had a steak taco which she also liked. Daughter got a bowl with roasted chicken, corn and other ingredients. 16 oz Miller Lite draft was $5.

We also got the corn salsa and the habernaro salsa, which were both delicious. They were at the South Side garage when we found them, so we got some kombucha and an old fashioned that did not disappoint. Cody was manning the truck that day and he was so friendly, helpful and knew all about how to veganize their food and made any necessary adjustments. He even came into the garage to double check on preparation for us. He gave us service that was exceptional. The food was delicious and we need to find CM again stat! Loved the location and the ambiance of the Garage as well. The one downside is that the "location" calendar was a little hard to use since I wasn't familiar with some of the places listed on it and didn't know where those places were since there weren't address on many of the listings. But, I'm sure that's a software issue they have no control over. If you see the truck, stop! It's worth a visit.
