We were very dissatisfied with the work Concrete-Visions did on our home. Concrete-Visions was given multiple opportunities to make corrections, but failed. Major issues include (indicative photographs can be provided): * Extensive cracking - according to CV's employees, this was due to improper pour mix. * Insufficient thickness - more pronounced in basement, but also main level. * Missing mirror/glass aggregate throughout in large patches and foreign objects embedded. * Poor workmanship around edges, posts, stairs, floor outlets, and walls. * Large area of poor quality floor in front of main slider entry door. * Yellow floor, gray floors, and areas where basement subfloor appears to be showing. In addition to the poor quality floor work product, there was collateral damage to our home (indicative photographs can be provided): * Main slider door out of alignment, threshold damaged, and door/screen covered in concrete. * Shower waterproofing membrane was damaged and not repaired prior to covering up. * Walls scuffed by polishing equipment. * Front door threshold and bar toe kick damaged from grinder. * Concrete splatter on porches and metal siding. Beyond the poor floor quality and the collateral damage, our construction schedule was impaired by CV's extended work on our floors. The initial pour was supposed to take 2 weeks, but instead it took 4 weeks. Similarly, the final grinding/polishing was supposed to take 2 weeks, but instead it took 8 weeks. During the second 4 weeks, new teams were brought onsite and attempted unsuccessfully to make corrections to first teams work. This additional two months caused us to pay rent plus mortgage plus utilities for our temporary residence as well as our residence under construction. We also incurred expense for water, electricity, and waste disposal for the poor quality floors. Finally, the owner of Concrete-Visions said "we cannot honor warranties due to extensive discounts". We have had other floor experts analyze what needs to be done, and according to them, the floor and subfloor must be replaced. read more
