Just like any of my house project, I started by getting estimates from different paver companies. I got total of 4 bids. One was astronomically high from the most famous paver company around. I later on found out that the aforementioned company subcontracts its work to other smaller companies anyways. The other 3 estimates were in the same ballpark. I went and checked each company's completed work. I decided to go with CD pavers since their job looked the cleanest and nice after a year of completion. I decided to expand my driveway replacement project and added walkway and the stairs to the front entry door. They started their work on the day they promised. The demolition was fast and precise. The ground prep work was deep. Everyday the supervisor stopped by and ensure everything was going per plan and gave me updates. I did not realize how much ground work preparation installing pavers entailed. The crew that got assigned to my project showed up on time and worked as a team every day. I know because I happened to be home checking on them every couple of hours. The job took an extra day and that was caused by rainy weather. The completed job looked so good that I decided to use them to replace my (2) old/deteriorating lamp post brick structure (they looked out of place). Their estimate for lamp post replacement was also very reasonable. They followed all the HOA rules and cleaned up the street nicely. I later on discovered there are a lot of landscapers who claim they can install pavers. Hate to tell you that their final product is normally not structurally stable and in no time the pavers fall apart creating mega gaps in between pavers. I have already recommended CD pavers to two of my friends/neighbors. Just like me, they were also happy & satisfied with their accomplishment. Long story short, highly recommend this company.

He held himself illegally out as still running a business, and then performed the work so poorly that we have to have it all redone. He literally sealed the fireplace making it unusable. We tried it out and choked our family on smoke for hours while we tried to figure out how to put the fire out without creating more smoke. The house and furniture smelled of smoke for weeks. When we gave him multiple months to repair his egregious mistake, which he promised he would with an every other week text message that said he would get it on the schedule, he finally confessed he had been lying the whole time and had no intention of coming out to fix the problem. There is nothing he could say that I would believe at this point, and he has left us with a multiple thousand dollar repair, which is more than the job cost. Do not be duped by him. This has been a nightmare, and he should be ashamed of taking advantage of people the way he has.

I did engage my attorney yesterday to see what next steps are to get Brandon to perform. Brandon called my phone twice recently and didn't leave a message about what he was calling about. Then he scolded me about not returning his calls. I informed him if you do not leave a message. I think you butt dialed me. I'm not going to waste my time returning a call when I have no idea if you intended to call or what you were calling about. I do know that he likes to fish and hunt and will drop what he's doing to go do that. I did give him a number of opportunities to make good and not breach our contract before engaging my attorney. I did include a few photos for reference, but they're a number of other items still needing to be completed. Not happy!
