Well, I believe the services were recently performed but nonetheless, the place looked and smelled great!

The team here is outstanding - they're always ready to assist, genuinely attentive and very helpful. Beyond the wonderful staff, the library itself is always immaculately kept. You can print color/BW pages here for .25 cents each, and you can also reserve a conference room. Having said that, what truly sets this branch apart are the programs that they regularly host. They are great for encouraging patrons to explore more books, while making reading a part of your everyday routine. While I've patronized the downtown Concord Library for 13 years, Afton Ridge has become my new preferred spot. It seems like kismet that my 450th review is exploring one of my new favorite places :-)

We arrived at 4 knowing it closed at 5 p.m. A friendly attendant greeted us at the gate and asked if we were new visitors which we were, and he informed us that the last tour was already progress and we could join in, or explore the grounds on our own. This is an experience everyone young and old would enjoy! The tour is a glimpse into Mr. Graham's life, his ministry, and his travels around the world. The gardens and grounds are beautiful, and there's a memorial garden on site. We're already planning to return to experience the full tour, which is said to be at least an hour and a half long and it's free. The staff was amazing and very knowledgeable.

The volunteers are incredibly friendly and courteous, and I really appreciate that in this AI age, we still get to enjoy genuine human interactions. The self-guided tour takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, and the presentation is excellent--it's a great opportunity to learn about Billy Graham's ministry, his life story, and his family. As a Christian myself, I find his faith very inspiring! I highly recommend everyone, regardless of their background or beliefs, to visit this meaningful place! Parking and admission are free. I would normally…read morepass it on my normal runs or when I used to ride the bus on College St... but other than knowing its building name, I had no idea. I still probably don't have a good idea of all the services the Hal Marshall Annex provides. A lot of services: health and human services, women's programs, shelters, rental assistance, among other programs can be found here in this building. The reason for my visit here was to cast my early vote for the 2016 election. Start to finish, I was bracing myself for a long line, but I was able to get my ballot cast in about 30min. The election staffers were super nice and the lady confirming my identity was surprised that I had a long first name that is comprised of two names (technically my name barely fits on my drivers license). Anyways, the touch-screen voting machines were 100% used and the line moves fairly fast. I took a hot second a couple days ago to find a website that tailors a ballot/candidates to my particular district and my options as far as candidates. The annex is an easy walk from Uptown (about 13min) and there are really no other buildings surrounding it aside from parking lots.
