NEVER in my time going here has it ever ate my money and not worked. Well it did tonight. Not only on the washer, but the dryer ate over a $1 in quarters. It was 10:30 so I didn't think calling would be appropriate. So there I go, $6 less in my pocket that I'm not getting back because they can't get good washers.

And when I got home I rechecked the pockets for kleenex - none. One machine had only t-shirts in it. No pockets to put a kleenex in. I normally use the Foothills Laundrat in Newport, but there is the water problem for now in Newport. I have never checked the machines there & my clothes always come out perfectly clean - no lint!!!!! Didn't even offer to refund some of my money.

They also sell laundry soap/stuff if you dont have them. Bathrooms are pretty clean. The games though..... dont waste your money on the "toy chest" claw because its rigged and weighted, the police trainer shooting game is not calibrated, the air-hockey works but very loud since its pretty quiet in here. They have 2 push machines with quarters thats fun but of course you use more money than drops. Be very wary of people there because there are some shady characters. Someone stole one of my bags, and people have no realization for personal space. I would come back here though because it was pretty clean and it had plenty of carts for people to use.

The dryers require a bit of a learning curve, though and I would really appreciate it if hhere were posters explaining how to use the machines for people. However, it's a cool place that's spacious, clean, always has cool, funky, mostly 1970s music playing. One can even go to the establishment next door and get a smoothie while one waits.
