I chose a hotel 3 miles from the airport (not a great area of town) specifically so I could have a short cab ride. The cabbie, however, seemed surprised that we were only three miles from the airport. Finally, there is a flat-rate fee to the airport. I suppose I should have expected this, but $20.00 is HIGH for Montgomery! Especially because I'm in town from Boston and especially because I was three miles away from the airport.
