The only problem is that you always end up spending at least a hundred euro's because everything here is awesome and cheap. My wallet no likey! The one downside to Primark is that they're collections come in limited amounts. One day there's something super awesome you want to buy for your boyfriend, but he's not with you and you want to see it on him and the next day it's gone forever. :( Sad times. So come here, shop fast and don't forget to bring your Birthday money, holiday money, tax paybacks and entire life savings so you can buy everything your heart desires and everything your heart didn't even know it desires!

Quite a few big names have locations here including Albert Heijn, Subway and JD Sports, most of these streets did seem decent, and there is a market area too. A lack of information guides / general staff around was a slight problem, at first, it could even be hard to tell you are in something which is a "shopping centre", and they don't seem to have a mall guide which they really are missing, especially as this is the largest shopping centre in Amsterdam. Amsterdamse Poort's location is decent, being close to the Railway Station and the Amsterdam ArenA, but the location, of course, could make it a place to avoid on an event day, as I can only presume it gets hectic. Amsterdamse Poort adds to the feel of the Amsterdam ArenA reminding me of Wembley, as this just feels like a larger Wembley Park in a way (London Designer Outlet etc) Decent place to shop while in Amsterdam as long as it isn't an event-day, not without its' flaws but remains easy to get to via public transport (train and metro) so I do feel a three-star rating is deserved here!

I mean, we need a place to eat before the show! Well, make that left when you exit the station and find all kinds of food and shopping! It was so much bigger than I was expecting! You have grocery stores, clothing stores, electronics, jewelry, body stores, almost anything you could look for. It's a maze, but it has good aesthetics, is clean, and there are maps. I would just go for an afternoon stroll with maybe a snack at the Cinnabon (http://www.yelp.com/biz/cinnabon-amsterdam-zuid-oost)--I'm a sucker for those cinnamon buns!

Although the shop caters to people with kids, ladies they have some really nice big fashionable handbags for women. I also would encourage mommies and daddies to shop in here, it's a super lovely shop. They have a few different locations around the Netherlands. The shop in Amsterdam, near the Rai station is really nice.

I visited this shop today fifteen minutes before closing. My husband and I asked if they were still…read moreopen, and the girl at the counter let us know that they were, for fifteen more minutes. We were 100 percent clear when the shop would be closing. I found a few cute, decently priced things to try on amidst the overcrowded racks, and proceeded to the dressing "rooms," whose curtains always leave an embarrassing gap (which could easily and cheaply be remedied by a clip, hook, or velcro). Since I still had several minutes before closing, I tried them on. With five minutes to close, the girl at the counter shouted out a loud announcement that they would be closing soon. Since I was only feet away from the desk, I could hear this quite clearly. However, another sales assistant felt the need directly after this to come over, stand outside of my poorly closed curtains, and shout loudly that if I wanted to pay I needed to do it now. Still shirtless, I said that I was getting my clothes on. I didn't realize that I would be required to respond from the dressing room to the girl at the counter. If they plan on closing at 4:55, they should put that on their door. The other option would be to let us know when we walked in and asked about the closing time that they would be closing early. I would definitely have bought all three items that I found had I not experienced this rude, unnecessary and unprofessional behavior. I considered going back in and saying something about it, but instead, I will refrain from giving them my business and recommend that you hop over to some of the many superiorly curated and more decently priced shops in Utrecht. This one is a pass for me.

This is a nice mix of mall and market. You have your typical mall shops (Foot Locker and Xenos for…read moreexample) and other places to check out in the main areas. A little walk down and you end up in a market area where vendors sell all sorts of goods, from fish to fabric. It's kind of busy in the market area but the food alone is worth it.
