It has everything you need regarding furniture, kitchen and bathroom items. I can't speak for the service for every shop but we definitely had a positive experience in the the furniture shop called Room 108. I was also pleased to see how much they upgraded the shops. The inventory improved significantly. The only con it's not an ideal place to dine for lunch or dinner. They have a few small sandwiches places but that's about it.

Some of the bigger stores include the Media Markt, V & D, Hema, Blokker, and many others. I really liked that most of it was covered which is ideal in Dutch weather. The only negative was the lack of restrooms! You really need to go into a larger store or restaurant to use one. They really need more public restrooms!

Dutch grocer Royal Ahold (Stop & Shop in the US) has two stores here and everything is located outside the security area of the terminal It is very near the baggage claim area. Also the Train Station into Centraal Amsterdam is just outside and easy to find.

Easily accessible from Amsterdam by train or bus...there is everything here from Kiosks, restaurants, bars and even a Nespresso store! Of course there is an Albert Heijn as well. I actually come here from Amsterdam to do some shopping sometimes. Just a quick 12 minute train ride....lots of fun vibes to be in an airport PRE-security. Another big plus are free bathrooms. Access to 12 or more train platforms underground so you can go anywhere in The Netherlands from here. Usually the first thing you see when leaving the airport and arriving to Amsterdam.

A little walk down and you end up in a market area where vendors sell all sorts of goods, from fish to fabric. It's kind of busy in the market area but the food alone is worth it.

Since this place is on the way home if I don't have anything I'm doing on a Friday after work, sometimes I stop by to browse around.
