I mistakenly decided to go here while in town on business. This was a mistake as my haircut was a train-wreck.
To start, the place is a little run down but nothing heinous. Men's haircuts are $15. I went to Michelle, a Taiwanese lady, who was nice enough but had no business cutting hair.
Her cutting technique was very rapid without much attention to detail or the overall picture. When she started on the sides with the clippers (I asked for a #3 on the sides) was when I got real nervous. She kept clippering higher and higher until I finally couldn't stand it and told her to stop because she was making it too short, too high...Marines are great and all but I don't want to look like one. She tried to even it out as best she could but the damage was done. Following that she scared me with her "fine" clipper technique getting around the ears, etc....she did this with entirely toooooo much quickness and little jabs.
I refused to pay full price (I still gave her $10) - believe me, I've had some bad haircuts but this was one of the worst. I really knew I was in trouble when halfway through this debacle a man who cuts in the place came in later and kept looking over with this concerned look...he knew it too. Awful. read more
