Preemployment testing today. I arrived at 8:30 on a Monday morning and there were 20 waiting in the lobby; some for injuries, some for Preemployment and some for drug testing. The lobby was clean, the clerks were efficient and the wait was about eight minutes. They had a small (24") tv in the lobby, and it was tuned to the science channel. Science! After my testing, I waited for the results. They fell a bit behind so they offered me crackers and water. Nice move! I was out of there at 10:30, which was great for a walk-in. All-in-all, not an unpleasant experience going to the clinic. I can't remember any other with such good service. read more

Nobody knows how to do their job here except gossip and play music on their phones real loud. Ok... I was extremely worried by the reviews, but my experience was great. Yes I did have to wait but less than 2 hours to get a mask fit test and there were about 7-8 ppl ahead of me. WORSE DOCTOR'S VISIT IVE EVER HAD.I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment for a PT test. They said no. I asked if there was a best time to come in because I didn't want to show up when they are on lunch, they said NO I should be fine as along I I come in before 3pm.I arrived at 1245pm. Filled out paper work. At 1pm was told I won't be seen until 130pm. At 115pm I was told the pt doctor is going on LUNCH, which I was told WASN'T going to happen when I called ahead, and to come back at 245 and I will be seen right away. At 245 I checked in. Around 3pm I got sent to the back. About 310pm I got sent back to Lobby where I was once again told to Wait for someone and to again fill out MORE paperwork. This place has wasted half my entire day with their incompetence. I even almost got denied the pt test because my blood pressure was so high because of how irritated I was. So to recap. I called and was told I would be seen right away if I walked in. I came here for a referral and this couldn't be a worst place for a referral. Literally 2 people waiting tons of space and openings and they forgot about me. Waited over a hour and a half. I went to the counter to remind them I am here and they said they couldn't call me because they forgot my number and reason why I was here. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I came in for a simple fit test (N95 mask fit) and was told I needed a physical before the provider would allow them to administer the fit test. The provider noted that I needed one based on how I had answered my fit test questionnaire. I answered the same way I always do cause I get fit tested almost every 3-6 months for work not just at Concentra locations, but also hospitals and I had just gotten a physical with Concentra 6 months prior so I didn't see the need for a physical again. This is the second Concentra I've been to that was trying to make my company pay for another physical. I was told it was not a policy by Concentra to demand a physical with a fit test that it was based solely on the provider. Nothing she did in my physical would have made an impact on me taking the fit test. I truly believe she demanded another physical in order to charge my company. I have been to other Concentra for fit testing and have never had to do a physical. Then she said she wouldn't pass me because my blood pressure was high. I told her I've been sitting in your waiting room for 4 hours waiting for a fit test. I have a history of hypertension, yes my blood pressure is high. This was the worst visit I've ever had at any urgent care and I go frequently for work as a travel nurse. If I could have gone somewhere else I would have. My fit test was less then 5 min. I got to the clinic at 1130 and I'm currently still here at 330. Almost five hours for a test that only took 5 min cause a provider took it upon herself to demand a physical. A provider who does not manage my care long term. I have a primary care who I follow up with. So I'm still so appalled by this provider and her actions. read more

I have gone to Concentra throughout the years in a time span of 20 years roughly. It's not a bad place. If you're not in a hurry everything will take twice as long. Even checking out takes a long time. This place is notoriously known for employee drug testing and Workmen's Comp. I would not recommend this to anybody that needs urgent care. Had an appointment scheduled for about a week. Checked in ON TIME. Sat in the waiting area for 45 minutes. They moved us to a waiting room thinking finally! Sat in the waiting room for an additional 20 minutes!! NOT OKAY. Over an hour and never seen the Dr. Ended walking out. There needs to be better communication & management on their end. Extremely annoying and unprofessional to have a client wait over an hour for a scheduled follow up appointment. read more

Conccentra urgent care is the worst place to come for drug test. I mean all of there officers is 100% worst.

This is one unsanitary place! I've been in 3 rooms already and not one bottle of sanitizer anywhere! No social distancing enforced and none of the Lobby chairs are cleaned or sanitized after each use. Saw 2 employees walking around without mask. If I didn't need to be here I would have left immediately! You would think an establishment that is labeled medical would comply with this serious pandemic! Shameful!!! read more

Better than quite a few urgent care centers I have been to in the valley. The majority of their business seems to be occupational testing, so when I walked in as an urgent care patient, they put me in a different queue than the occupationals. I was seen by a nurse within 15 minutes and a PA within 15 minutes after that. I got the meds I was looking for to treat my two week old cough and other nastiness. Four days later they called me to see how I was doing. Pricing is posted up front. Check the website to fill out the main form ahead of time. If you are paying cash, you can print out a 10% off coupon. Not the newest building, it is next to a Samurai Sam's in an industrial area. Hours are not terribly helpful, mostly 8-5. However, it filled my need in a more timely manner than I expected. I would go back if necessary. read more

Was a bit scared reading some of the reviews below on coming but am happy to say I had a fabulous experience. Came in at 805am and by 820 was asked to come in back and start my exam. Girls working are very nice, maybe the people below need to understand they also have a stressful job and give them a break. Here for workmans comp. They told me to wait in the lobby. Then they said wait in my car. My phone did not ring. Had a missed call. Called back. Told to re enter lobby. Told the guy who told me to wait outside I was back in after she told me to come in. He said fine. Later told from desk I needed to answer call from doctor in lobby even though I was right there? Then told them it wasn't showing but as a missed call and not ringing. Told I had to wait back in my car. Got called and the lady proceeded to talk over me and tell me how I needed to fix my voicemail even though I was trying to say what happened from my end and how I couldn't even answer it anyway and then she told me verbally that I needed a negative covid test before being seen and they didn't even have an X-ray technician. So I was like can I have a letter saying what you are saying, that you are refusing to treat and she said no and I was flabbergasted. So I said I need a letter. And they said I had to call my employer and my employer called them and told them I cannot be treated. Then I called employer and left voicemail. Then I called the workers comp directly to file a claim and they said I didn't even need to go through employer so they can't direct them not to treat and they would never know that unless they were partnered up to prevent filings and it was only then during that call that I got an email from employer about steps for filing. Ha. The urgent care still refused to give me a written notice they werent going to treat me which is standard business policy everywhere else. What a freakin mess. If you have workmans comp and they only refer you here check the hr policy online and see who it is then call directly so you don't have to deal with these assholes. read more

Unbelievable the slowest place I have ever been I have to give 1 star because they yelp does not offer zero stars

No Service! Turns out the hours posted are not their hours of service. I dropped a large object on my foot and was pretty sure it was broken so I looked online and saw their hours are 8-5. I arrived at the clinic at 4:23, told the person at the front desk what happened, and she told me the xray tech was leaving at 4:30 so all I could do was see a doctor. When I told her that didn't help me, that I would most definitely need xrays, she said the xray tech left at 4:30, as if I didn't hear her the 1st time. I asked if she would talk with the doctor to ask if I could see the tech first, she then said it would take me more than 7 minutes to fill out the paperwork and that I wouldn't have time to see anyone before 4:30. Apparently, the front desk person, who, based on her grammar has less than a high school diploma, makes office decisions, not a competent office manager or the highly educated and trained doctors. Needless to say, I left without seeing a doctor or getting xrays. I did suggest that they post their hours as 8-4:30 or they actually provide all services until the closing time. We've all been to businesses who stay late to accommodate the customer, you would think a health care provider would do the same, especially if the patient is in the office prior to the posted hours of service. Concentra apparently does not accommodate the patient, just the hours of their non-customer service oriented staff. Good to know, there are other Urgent Care facilities available, now I know this is not one that I care to go back to. read more
