Definitely a place to avoid! We arrived before they opened and were third in line and told it would be 2.5 hours from start to finish. Went in for a firefighter physical five different times. Each time I was told I could not be seen as they were understaffed. The staff there was always so kind, but kept telling me to come in on "x" date and they'd be better staffed. Each day I went in they were even less staffed than before. I was finally seen but waited for 2+ hours. It's tough because most employers require this location instead of choosing an urgent care with better staffing and hours. read more

I thought the personnel in the waiting area handled the chaos very well. The first phase of the DOT physical I presented to the nurse a document from Harvard Medical describing the proper technique for taking blood pressure. That may have been the point when I wasn't going to get my medical card the individual that was supposed to do the final step was enraged and offended that I would present anything to do with the proper technique for taking blood pressure. After a brief tirade the individual demonstrated her preferred method while standing placing my forearm in her armpit. It was at that moment I knew I wasn't going to walk out of there with a medical card and I was right. FMCSA recognize a problem and require all medical examiners be recertified by December 31 2023 read more

I can not thank this TEAM enough and when I say TEAM, they are a TEAM!!!!!!! From the front end gals to the Dr. All the phone calls and staff whom have supported us through this tragic emergency that my husband has experienced. I call them up for more supplies and they get this ready for me. They asked to give them some time. The other day one of the staff members said that my husband and I are such a sweet couple and that they do not see that anymore. I had tears in my eyes because this has been very stressful for both my husband and I. So these two stars are for the main reason of the extremely long wait. I had an appointment due to a respiratory questioner that flagged a visit due to age (or at least this is the only reason that was given) I called a week ago, made an appointment and the first one they had was 12:00 today. I arrived at 11:59, signed in and waited until 12:48 before being called in for a lung function test. Start to finish the appointment was 20 minutes. Now I'm back in the waiting room waiting to leave. It's now 1:40. Did you do the math? 20 minute scheduled appointment with over an hour of just waiting. Also now located on Southborough drive. There is almost no regard for the patient's time. After numerous appointments of which I waited 45+ minutes for a quick 10 minute evaluation, I chose to fire them. Do know that after 10 days from injury in the State of Maine, for worker's compensation claims, you entitled to seek medical care of your choosing. 1 star is not only for their disregard for my time but I was also misguided in my treatment of which effected the effectiveness of my treatment. read more

The doctors and staff were extremely nice and made me feel comfortable. Despite being treated well/in a clean environment.. This place is incredibly disorganized. They forgot to send my prescription in, and then sent it to the wrong location!! I would come here again but make sure everything was done thoroughly and properly before I left! read more

I came in for a walk-in work drug test, my total time there including my wait time was 30 to 35 minutes, didn't feel that long at all. All these reviews complaining about how long it took baffle me a little bit because the facility can only handle so many people at once, and if it's busy the day you come in then that's that, it's not on Concentra that the wait time was so long, it's because of how many people are coming in that day. The waitstaff were very friendly, no complications with my visit at all, very modern looking facility, and the seats were noticeably comfortable. Tara is very nice! read more

I hurt my shoulder at work on November 1st. They recommended PT which didn't help. I kept insisting there was something else wrong. Each appointment all they did was say they're keeping my lifting restrictions at work and more PT. 4.5 months later they sent me for an MRI and we found out I had 2 tears in my shoulder... a problem that could've been fixed a long time ago if they would've listened. For the appointment when I got told my MRI results I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes and the room out back for 20 minutes just for her to say "oh you have a couple tears. I will refer you to the orthopedic doctor." All of that could have been said over the phone instead of me wasting gas to get there when I live 30 minutes away. To top it all off, every time I go there I end up waiting 30 minutes to an hour to be seen and 15+ minutes to be checked out after. Most of the physical therapists are cool. Except for one who kept insisting it was a problem with my neck rather than my shoulder so he kept focusing on my neck. If the orthopedist tells me I need more PT after it not helping previously I will be livid. read more

They are the rudest most unfriendly health care place I have ever been to. They seem so bothered when I came into quick care and could barely walk on my foot. And they actually had no idea what was wrong with me. I'm pretty sure everyone who works here isn't actually qualified to work in the medical field. When they called back to make a follow up appointment, they could not be any more rude when talking to me. Do not go here for any type of medical help. read more

I always have to clear my day when visiting Concentra. Even when going in for a simple random drug screening for the DOT. No mater the patient load they're always behind. Be prepared to wait a couple of hours. read more

I never thought I would write a review about a medical office... but I am really pleased with my Concentra experience. Everyone there was super friendly and also attentive to our needs since my husband and I don't have insurance. We even had an issue with getting a random bill after our appointment and everyone I spoke to about it at the South Portland office was extremely empathetic and kind. They solved our problem... and amazing customer service goes a long way in my book!! It's so nice to know that this place is near us. read more

We used to go to Central Maine Medical Partners for sports physicals. They were friendly and quick. Concentra has now bought them out, and it is not a good experience, simply because of the long wait time. We were there for an hour and a half for a scheduled sports physical appointment! read more
