    The practitioners are great - the nurse, Kelly, was really curteous and nice, and the doctor was very knowledgeable and understanding. However, the reason why I would never return is the front reception. One of the ladies seemed to be having a bad day (perhaps a chronic case of grumpiness) and was clearly taking it all out on the patients. Further, even with three employees in reception, it took them almost 45 minutes to check me in, and now I have been waiting for another 45 minutes to just get checked out! A lot of their customers seem to be people coming in for employee mandated tests, so maybe they just aren't used to or plain not sensitive to patients with severe pain that just want to go home. I've been here for nearly three hours, half of which is due to the inefficiencies of the reception. Not returning.

    Worst medical place I've ever been can not take blood pressure readings properly sent me to the ER for nothing they suck

The atmosphere is ok - there's a lot of work that needs to be corrected specifically on the walk in side, there's no reason why staff should be talking about patients out in the open specially registration - UNPROFESSIONAL and a HIPPA VIOLATION. Under no circumstances should any staff member of central outreach be discussing about patients and or their personal healthcare especially if the patient is not present to defend themselves..... The average 20 - 30 min should not be that long especially if your the first patient of the day on the walk in side there's no reason why I should have waited 35min at 9am got seen by 10am was out the doors by 1045am that's unacceptable. When a specific provider is being asked for and called for ---- STOP SENDING SOMEONE WHO WE DIDNT ASK FOR The waiting rooms need to be more expanded it gets way to crowded by 1115am and most people have to start standing or they go outside back to their cars.....

Returning for tests and followup I was pleasantly suprised tat my first opinion was correct. A very well run and staffed by friendly staff. The tests were on time and in most cases the Doctor was present. Results were give by Dr Toma who actually held my hand. 10/13/2016

I did not have a choice on the hospital I went to, UPMC was the only place open and I was hardly even conscious when I arrived. For the love of god, if you have any choice on where you get your treatment, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. All Hospitals are expensive, but usually they are willing to actually work with you on the things they charge you for. UPMC has told me on no less than 4 occasions now that they will absolutely not work with me on my bill. I asked for explanations on things like the 10,000% mark-up on the same nausea medicine I get over the counter for $10, and every single time I'm told "Oh that's what it costs, this is a teaching hospital!". They don't even try to explain duplicate charges. I have been forced to take a ridiculous amount of time off of work to jump through their hoops only to get absolutely no where with them. Bonus points: Apparently the emails they have listed all over their website are not actually in use. They say they'll send you information in the mail, important things like the financial aid application you requested, and then they just won't. But they are real quick to threaten you with collections!

Even though it is at my "home" office it is considered a specialty fee since it is with sports medicine. $40 instead of $25, ok that is fine. What the problem is is that when I came into this appointment and paid before I got seen the person at the desk states, "you have a balance of $15." Ummmhmm. What? They said it was for my last visit. I said I paid my last visit in full here is my receipt. Apparently the person who did my paperwork charged me wrong and I never realized and neither did they. Irritated. Not that $15 is going to break the bank but it has been 3 weeks. I received no letter of apology, like sorry we made a mistake ... NOTHING. Just to be told that like btw you have a past due bill.... Like I don't pay my bills. The lady at the desk then brushed it off saying you can pay it later don't worry about the money now. It is ok you can pay it later. Also she said she couldn't see what the past due was for. Just that it was due. I asked for a why and when and she couldn't give me details. If I didn't have my receipt from the last time then what? So here I sit. Annoyed at their mistake. Also I asked since I am here could I ask someone about this cough a nurse or someone. I got pneumonia a few years ago and colds now freak me out. They said probably not but they could try. But it would be easier just to make an appointment for another day.
