They are polite when they say they can't do much if they don't have any left. The whole system is pretty organized though. You usually go in and register and the wait times are long but at least they tell you you can go home and they will call you when to come in. There's also wifi posted at the front desk in case you do stay. The front desk definitely looks organized. There's no panic or rush, which is always a plus. There's 6 exam rooms. Appropriately sized. It's not tiny but it's not super spacious (which isn't necessary). In terms of the waiting room there's a lot of chairs in a row and I don't think they clean them in between. So just be careful when going into an urgent care because other people may be sick. Everyone must also wear a mask inside.

After I filled out the forms a Nurse came and took me to a consulting room. She checked out my vitals took some information and told me the doctor would be in shortly. Within 5 minutes the Doctor, I believe his name Dr. Briski came in and examined me. He did a thorough check over and gave me his diagnosis. Even at the urgent care I couldn't stop coughing. I asked for an antiobiotic and told I should only take Mucinex. My chest is clear is what I was told. Next day I go to office and can't stop coughing then start feeling worse than day before. Now I start coughing up yellow phlegm which everyone knows is a sign of bacterial infection!!! Then call back the Urgent care only to speak to the desk receptionist. I asked for them to send antiobiotic to my pharmacy explained I now I have yellow phlegm that I'm coughing up and not feeling well. I was told that the doctor said I should take the recommended medicine which was just mucinex. I called my doctor got antiobiotics right away. Now on second day and feel GrEaT!!! This was truly a last resort, and unfortunately, the visit did not meet even basic expectations. The wait time was excessive, especially for what should have been a straightforward visit. What made the experience even more frustrating was the customer service. When we walked in, the front desk staff did not acknowledge us or offer a simple greeting. Instead, they appeared to be engaged in personal conversations and laughing with one another while patients waited to be assisted. A small gesture like making eye contact or saying, "We'll be with you shortly," would have gone a long way. The overall atmosphere felt disorganized and unwelcoming. As a parent, when you are bringing your child in for medical care, you hope to feel that your time is valued and that the staff is focused on patient care. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. I understand that urgent care centers can become busy, and I try to be patient. However, professionalism, communication, and basic courtesy should remain a priority regardless of how busy the office is. It's run like an urgent care facility and is open daily from 8A-9P and 8A-5P on holidays except Christmas which is when they are closed. People are constantly walking in and are sick. They don't separate sick visitors from people who just need a checkup done, or have paperwork signed for work or school. My daughter was seen but, my only beef is there is a total disconnect between the medical assistants in the back and the front desk. They have a staff of three ladies in the front but they get very distracted and are not good with multitasking. I gave them explicit instructions on what exactly I needed from the doctor to fill out and fax back promptly to my daughter's college. I even gave them a copy of last years report to use as an example. I was told it would be done within a day. Several days passed and it was never done or faxed like promised. I called Family Care back and actually had to stop in again, because I had to go over everything. I originally spoke to the ladies at the front desk in regards to the paperwork they never did it. After another 24 hours and speaking to three different people in the front several times it it was finally faxed. Oh the best part was my daughter received a bill in the mail, but we were never told there was a charge. I asked when I was there and I was told there's no charge. The staff in the front needs better training. I know how a medical office should run, my brother has his own practice, but the college wouldn't allow him to do my paperwork My suggestion is to follow up on any paperwork that you will need faxed or filled out.

An intense day for the staff, but both the receptionist and nurse were professional, friendly, and kind. Not rushed. When the busy doctor made it into our examination room, the sounds of a patient in distress outside the door caused him to leave immediately to her assistance. A hospital ambulance was needed. In the meantime, the doctor examined my husband and explained what could be going on...and how to treat it in detail. When the EMTs arrived, he went out to go over the other patient's details and arrange her care. He returned to us, picking up where he left off without hurrying. Explained possible alternative medical conditions that could cause my husband's problem and said -- if the Rx he sent in to our pharmacy did not help in a couple of days -- to come back. He'd be right there at work tomorrow (Sunday) and the next day (Labor Day).... saying in a heartfelt way that he loves what he does. A Clutch Player if ever there was one.
