It is close to my home and accepted my insurance. My PT is Dr. Leanne and she is great! Not only is she a super nice person, but she's an awesome PT. The treatments she provided and stretching exercises she gave me have really helped! I am happy to report that I haven't felt numbness in my arm for a while now and I didn't get numb the last time I used the elliptical machine or ran! Yay! Top tier experience, from the super cute animal videos in the lobby to the amazing office staff to Dr. Ladhawala's expertise, all of it is great! I am not an easy patient, to be honest. I don't like to be touched a lot and I definitely tense up at the IDEA of my body being adjusted. It took a bit, but ... I started to relax and trust the process. I started being able to move easier and actually drop the tension in my neck/shoulders! My favorite part is the traction table because I feel like all the weight I subject my spine to (in between visits: carrying my oversized body, crouching/hunching at my work desk, stretching to reach stuff on higher shelves, twisting to pass my kids snacks in the back of the car, etc) literally MELTS out. I am also *pretty sure* I have fallen fully asleep on that traction table but everyone played it off really well & didn't even comment on it. They let me keep my illusion of . When I arrived at the office, the front desk staff greeted me with a friendly smile and helped me with the checking in process. Everything was simple and straight forward, which I appreciated it so much. When I stepped in the room for the treatment, Julia escorted me inside and asked several questions regarding my symptoms. She listened to me very patiently and wrote notes. After that, she brought some tools to do some tests and whenever I started to have pain, she immediately stopped and moved on to the next test. She was very considerate and professional while determining my condition. During the treatment session, she kindly explained what we're going to do in each step and made sure that I wasn't pushing too hard. Most PT places I've been to assign patients to assistants after the PT does the evaluation, but not this one. The only thing you have to take into account is to make sure you have enough time- I spent about 2 hours there (it was my first visit- sounds like other visits are about 15-30 min once established). What bothered me most: * Poor communication and disrespectful attitude. * Ignoring important information about environmental health risks. * Lack of empathy or explanation for why the info might be relevant. If your child's health could be affected by home conditions, be prepared to insist that the doctor listens and documents your concerns. We have been several urgent cares before and it's usually very packed and especially busy during the weekend. The wait time can be a few hours just to see a doctor. This urgent care is located right next to the Fwy. So it's very easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. I was amazed how empty and there was only 1 person in front of us. It took only 5 mins to check in after filling out all the medical paperwork. In less than 5-10 mins, a nurse already called us in to take my dad's health readings and immediately had a heart machine to monitor his heartbeat. In about 5-10 mins the doctor came in to check on my dad. Afterwards, it just took a little longer to wait for misc paperwork. I was amazed in less than 45 mins, we were in and out!!!! The facility was cleaned. They even have a security guard on site for our safety. The staff could also speak Chinese and overall they were professional and friendly! I highly recommend this urgent care vs going to an overcrowded facility which will take a few hours of wait and the more wait seeing the doctors and taking care of other misc items before you can actually leave!
