Overall: great staff! Long wait... I came here for a pre-employment drug screening and physical. After being told by my new employer that Concentra would most likely not be able to get me in and out within an hour, I looked up the location by Yelp. The reviews scared me a bit, due to negative customer reviews and long wait times. I decided to go on a Saturday. The location was open from 10-3, so I came at 9:30am. At 9:50, 4 patients had already lined up. By 10, 4 others had shown up. Jalyssa greeted us kindly at the door. She stated to sign in and she would call us up. She was very nice and handled the very busy situation perfectly. She stayed calm and was respectful to everyone. After a 1.5 hr wait, I was finally called back. The wait was due to the amount of patients ahead of me and the clinic only having 1 front desk, 2 medical assistants, and 1 doctor on staff. Raymond began taking my stats. He was very kind and cheerful, despite the busy morning. As I was waiting to take my drug screening in the lab area, Richard (the other medical assistant) walked by and greeted me. I thought it was very nice that he acknowledged me and spoke to me. After the drug screening, I was escorted to my room. Dr. Henderson finished my physical. He was very nice and very quick. My overall impression of the location was that it was clean, well kept, great staff, but short-staffed. It took 2 hours to complete my visit. read more

I have tried and tried and tried with these people. The doctor's are worse than the front staff. One lady doctor was in an awful, horrible mood and took all her frustrations out on me because I had a sinus infection. Amoxicillin does not work for me and we had a down home screaming match because she insisted that I take that prescription or I "get out". A waste of 2 hours. A waste of a copay. And frankly, a total waste of a doctor. If you go to this Concentra in Conyers be prepared to debate, fight, and if necessary bring your lawyer with you. read more

They need to close this site. They are inefficient, ineffective. Incompetent and unethical. The waited 45 minutes for a signature to correct their mistake on documents critical for the patients employment. The staff was rude and uninformed. They told the patient to schedule another work physical to correct their typing error. What was the error. Name. Why was this not noted when reconciling the ID presented to the input. Incompetent. Why are approvals shorter than the prescribed timeframe - unethical. Blood pressure, sleep apnea. Any excuse is given to ensure the patient has to return and company's pay for unneeded visits. Efficiency or unethical behavior is when a dr needs to review the patients paperwork to correct a clerical error in patient information made by their own staff. Fax or email were not even options. This is the third and worst visit and they get worse each time. The other offices are bad but this is the worst. read more

Horrbile customer service, VERY RUDE PEOPLE. They make you feel very uncomfortable. The wait is ridiculously long, I went for a drug test and tb skin test, waited OVER 45 mins. I'm so thankful my employers's workers comp uses this facility. I had injured my knee and was in pain. All of the staff showed such concern and compassion. They were professional, polite and so helpful! If I could give them 10 stars I would. I highly recommend this clinic! read more

Today as an owner operator i decided to get my DOT physical. I'm glad I went to Conyers Concentra because my experience was great. Everyone was very polite as well as professional. The facility was very clean and free from any unpleasant odors. Their techs/assistants were very knowledgeable and they were able to answer my questions with ease. If I could give a zero rating I would. I've used this clinic twice for DOT medical cards and they have twice delayed my medical card unnecessarily. Add to that the fact that they cost more than most other places and charge obscene amounts for extra services and you have a place that I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. read more

Went for DOT medical card/ Physical. And the wait time is Soooooooooooooo horrible. The ladies at the desk are fine bec they are just doing their job BUT the DOT dr is the worse. Just know she will deny you with any little thing. And have you going back and forth to other Dr's like money grow on trees while keeping you out of work. "Urgent"...that's laughable! This has to be one of the worse medical centers...ever! They always seem to be way understaffed for the amount of business that they generate. The first time I was here was in March for the flu. There was 4 people in front of me and it took 5 hours before I was taken back to a room. The second time I was here was also in March for a pre-employment physical and drug screen. I waited 3 hours and 13 minutes that time before being taken back. Third time in July again for pre-employment drug screen...no physical this time...1 hour 6 minutes for a process that took 4 minutes total. read more

This place has the worst costumer service! Took them over 2 months to get me my physical exam results! Specially the "Dr", was very rude. Would not let me talk, I really needed my results if not I would have just left before having to wait 2 months! The first day they had no problem charging me upfront. I don't really give reviews, but I had to write my experience! I should have look for reviews before deciding to choose them, most of the reviews on this page and if you search the internet, the majority of them are negative! That says much about them. I work for a business that does pre-employment background checks. We set folks up for drug testing and other procedures per our client's requests. We use Concentra because they have good coverage nationwide, and are generally responsive. Each Concentra location is independently managed, so service does vary from location to location. This particular clinic is the pits. Even when I send the patient in with authorization forms and specific instructions on where to send the test results and paperwork, it never comes. Last week, I called every day, sometimes several times a day to get the documentation. Never got it. I even spoke to and emailed the center director several times, begging for the paperwork. Never got it. A week later, I get half of the paperwork needed, but still no sign of the drug test results, and ZERO response from the director. I had to explain to my client every day what was going on. On Friday, my client called Concentra and guess what? They sent the test results directly to her!!! She was kind enough to send them to me, but this is beyond unacceptable! Besides potential HIPPA violations of sending patient information to apparently anyone who asks for it (except the one who ordered and paid for it), this is massively embarrassing! We are paid to manage this task for our clients, and having our client get the results instead of us totally bypasses their need for us. I'm desperately searching for an alternate facility, and will only use this location as an absolute last resort. My best guess is that they are seriously under-staffed, and the staff that's there seems to not give a tinker's flip if things get done or not. This may have cost us a client and I strongly advise any other businesses who use this location to think twice. read more

I took my daughter here for an athletic physical exam but the wait was so long....the nurse took us into the exam room and we had to wait well over 40 minutes, no body show up. as I see , they have a lot of nurses.but, only one doctor..!! now,I understand. I don't like to come back. read more

The receptionist did not how to do the job, she lost my driver license. Can you believe that "urgent care clinic" lost my ID, I have to wait more time so they can looking for ID, more than 2 hour, they can't find it, frustrated I called police, Police came made a report and assist me to go to Driver license Service. My husband was sent to Concentra by his job for a D.O.T. physical. He was advised that no appointment was needed and from 10-2pm walk-in wete available. We arrived at 11:00am on a Saturday(today). We did not leave until 2:13pm! He had his BP, an urinalysis, eye and ear check. The doctor Lananisha Wells disqualified him due to a "trace" amount of sugar in his urine and a "slightly" elevated BP. Not doing further testing or anything. So she decided to DISQUALIFY my husband from his livelihood with no explanation! He was told about his disqualification from the front desk person! Talk about no bedside qualities! This is unacceptable. He did not get to speak with the doctor about what needs to be done to qualify, etc. She was running from room to room in a extremely crowded clinic during Cocid-19. I wouldnot suggest going to this clinic! read more

Covid has nothing to do with how you treat people. I drive from Brunswick to get a dot physical done instead of going to Florida. But not anymore, the female Dr. was extremely rude to the point that I had to tell her she was getting into discrimination territory. I know longer trust your Dr.s to do the correct job and leaving their feeling out of the exam. She couldn't stop commenting on my age and the specific points of criteria she had to look for because of my age. Plus the numbers were exaggerated beyond comfortable. I don't know what she got out of that visit but thank goodness I have enough common sense to go somewhere else and do the physical again. read more

Urgent! Not at all!!! i was really better off going to the ER or waiting till I travelled back to NY to be treated than to have waste any time coming here. It took me almost 3 hrs to see a doctor. It would have probably been longer had I not remind them of how long I'd been waiting. read more

This has to be the worst place I've ever been to for "Urgent" care. My husband came in for lab work, was told it would be 10-15 minutes, we've now been here over 2.5 hours. He's still here waiting. No one will give us any answers on what's going on. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because it's required. read more

(I'm going to forewarn you, this review may be long.) I stopped in to Concentra Urgent Care around 3:30pm after feeling very ill on Tuesday. I just moved to the area, and my grandmother recommended this place to me, but after my experience, I don't think I'll be back here. When I first arrived with my mother, the receptionist said that there would be at least a 3 hour wait to be seen by urgent care. Absolutely ridiculous wait, but we had no choice. After filling out paperwork and about an hour in, I began to feel progressively worse. I was called back up to the receptionist desk to find out that because I was still under New York insurance, they could not accept it because they could not locate what kind of insurance it is, and could only accept insurance within the GA state. INSANE! Insurance is insurance right? Not at this place! Had to pay a whopping $150 co-pay for that. I then proceeded to tell the receptionist that although I was trying to be respectful of the wait time, my chest pain was at a 9 and I felt as if I couldn't breathe. Immediately, she got a nurse to the front desk to take me to the back (which I do appreciate!). So now, I'm in the back in an exam room. The nurse was decent, but didn't inform me of any stats unless I asked (ie, body temperature, bpm, etc). After asking her, I discovered that my fever was 102.1. Something was definitely wrong at this point, and I was in a very cold exam room. After the nurse left, I waited an HOUR to be seen by a doctor. Once the doctor reviewed my file and asked me a few questions, he diagnosed me with pneumonia. He said that he wanted to take a chest x-ray of me to make sure this was pneumonia so he could treat it properly. He leaves. I then proceed to hear other staff members outside say they're going to lunch. Come to find out, almost all the staff went to lunch. What??? Who goes to lunch in groups when there's a bunch of people waiting in your exam rooms and your waiting rooms? I waited another hour for the x-ray technician. It's 6:30pm at that point, and I really just wanted to say forget it and go home. Finally, at 6:40, he appears, and apologizes and explained that he was the only technician on staff and a lot of the employees called out of work today. It's because of his pleasantries and the receptionist who got me into triage right away that this place is getting 2 stars instead of one. My visit ended at about 7:10pm. AN ALMOST FOUR HOUR DOCTOR VISIT. There wasn't really a sense of urgency from a lot of the staff. Someone was waiting for four hours just to get a drug test done for a job. Sadly, I was a worse case and I was sitting in a cold room with PNEUMONIA waiting on things that could have been done a lot quicker. Let's be honest: I could have gotten so much worse while waiting to be seen or to be treated and I could be currently laying in a hospital bed rather than my own bed. Gladly, this didn't happen but this urgent care has got to do better. So much better. read more

Waited 2 hours....2 hours to take a drug test. This test was already prepaid. All I had to do was sign my name and scan a barcode then pee in a cup. I am a nurse and this wait was absolutely ridiculous. I can't imagine if you actually had an emergency. Save your time and just go to the ER and for drug tests go to a local docs office if you can. read more

Be prepared to wait!! And then, wait a little longer!! I have watched people coming in five minutes ago be seen while I have been sitting with my daughter for four hours. This one very unpleasant woman would not even acknowledge me even after I had been standing in front of her station for ten minutes, then copped an attitude when I seized a free moment to ask her my question. This is the worst facility EVER!! As I sit here waiting to get a simple urine drug test done, I am furious that I have been sitting here for OVER AN HOUR!! I arrived to the location at 7:40am, signed & was checked in 10 minutes later; and an hour later I am still sitting here. People who were either in the waiting area (4 people) and 3 people who came in after me have left. When I asked the front desk rep what was taking so long for a urine test, she states I think he has your chart. She goes and look where the charts are and moves mine from the back to the front and said your next. I will never come to this location for any service, nor would I recommend this location to anyone. read more

Conyers locations make all Concentra facilities look bad,Customer service sucks and it's only because of 1 person Dr.Andrews.She's very unprofessional and unpleasant to work with,She has a smart mouth bad attitude and stinky breath.The wait time is ridiculous,Front desk associates conversate more with each other than waiting on customers,Especially when the waiting room is filled to capacity.The bathrooms has thick red rings around the toilets as if they have never been cleaned.I would've taken a picture but I had to leave all my belonging outside the restroom. read more

Horrible! Went to get my daughter's sports physical. Price was half of what other providers charge. Should have known . . . you get what you pay for. Front staff was unorganized, took three trips to the front desk for information that should have been obtained the first time. I began to think then I had made a mistake and people that came in after me were getting called to be seen before me. After a 1-1/2 hour wait, I asked to get a refund. I was then called, I asked how long a wait in the back. Was told there were a few people in front of me so probably another hour. Got my money back. Went to Minute Clinic on Salem Road and was in and out within 30 minutes. Lesson learned. read more

Although the staff is courteous and helpful the service rendered here is sub-par at best. Upon arrival I was given a treatment time of 2 hours from check in to check out (hardly urgent treatment I must say). Then it took two hours just to be seen by a nurse (which lacked the correct equipment to evaluate even my vitals). I was then advised my further wait wouldn't even be called short because the provider was at lunch (why did you even assign me this time then?!) I was told though, that if my wait exceeded 15 min they would check on me . The Dr was callus, short, and unwelcoming. He made me feel rushed and as though I was a burden on him (sorry for bringing an illness to you doc). And then I had to wait AGAIN before I could leave. Overall this was a most unpleasant experience when I already didn't feel well. I would advise you seek elsewhere for a place with a sense of urgency for your urgent care needs. read more
