This is my favorite department store in Firenze that always has great brands and great sales no…read morematter what season or time of the year I visit. If you want to find great brands and prices like this in NYC, you have to be prepared to sort through an unorganized store and it's like finding a needle in a haystack-- but not here. Everything is so organized, each clothing rack is in order according to sizing, even the shoes are organized, there's no clutter and the store is easy to walk through and find what you need. I could say "it's an Italian thing" for why it's so organized and neat since Italians are all about presentation and visuals, but I still have to give this store credit for keeping things organized considering the high amount of tourist traffic that comes through this area. The layout is grand and you can see how to get to each specialty department from mostly anywhere in the store without really needing to ask where departments are. The sales people are chill, they don't hassle you, but are available to help when you need them. If you're in Firenze and prefer to shop quality and designer apparel without paying full price, this is the place to come! After you finish doing your touristy things near the Duomo, come and visit just around the corner!

I very much recommend to come here during the week, the weekend is nuts and you will have so much more space when trying on things and getting the items you want. Some of the stores inside include. Hollister (new), Coin (fancy department store), Kiko (makeup), Sephora (makeup), A HUGE H&M and unlike the one in the center of Florence, everything has managed to stay on the racks, not the floor, C&M, Universo Sport (fitness stuff & clothes), Foot Locker, Oviesse (clothes), Timberland (clothes & shoes), Guess, Coin casa (nice stuff for your house), Mediaworld (electronics), A toy store for kids, Apple store, many coffee bars, and the upstairs area has restaurants. We really like the brasilian place & brac. They also have sushi, tex-mex, chinese, light lunch, Mcdonalds. etc. Panorama (huge supermarket) They also now have an outside shopping area as well with a huge Shoe store, and a few other retail places. They have a ton of stores that I haven't even mentioned so if you want a a calm stress free shopping location - here you go! Don't forget to try the coffee bar close to Oviesse, they make really awesome coffee's with cinnamon and whipped cream.

The store is in the heart of Florence's shopping district and the amazing thing about Florence is that it's full of tourists but doesn't feel overrun by tourists like Venice. The store has multiple levels of clothing, designer goods and housewares. The top level houses a cafe with a beautiful view of Florence and the mountains that are in the distance. I believe it overlooks the hospital but I could be seriously wrong about this! The view into the courtyard of what I thought is the hospital has a lot of buskers and tourists watching buskers. The reason for the low rating is if you have gone to the Rinascente in Milan this is a smaller more run down version of that store with a lot less items.

This large local market was only a few minutes away from our AirBnb so we stopped by to pick up…read moresome goods. It was much larger than a Conad and very similar to an American market except their offerings are much more interesting. I was in love with the vast yogurt selection. Picked up some Pistacchio Yogurt for breakfast and it was delicious! They also had fresh fruit for decent prices and plenty of food souvenirs to take home. I found a box of Ferrero's Pocket Expresso that I've been searching for and some juices. Plenty of locals shop here as I didn't see too many tourists. Bonus: You can also buy bus tickets here!

I LOVE IPERCOOP!!…read more This place is awesome. I come here regularly to do grocery shopping, get a coffee upstairs at the cafeteria or do some window shopping. I love that they put in a Decathon in about a year and a half a go. I also come to their soci library to do some work ... it's better than the Oblate! Well it's better than the Oblate, in the sense that the tables are huge and always free. Awesome lighting... I can't stress the importance of good lighting in a library. Ok back to the main thing ... the grocery store. It's huge and they have a wide selection food items and very extensive wine and beer section. Prices are the same as any other Coop. They are open every other Sunday, as well.
