It ends up he was trying to take advantage of the tourists intentionally.

Since living in Geneva I've been here to pick up for birthday…read moregifts for a good friend (scented candles, a travel USB charger with a cool map design on it, and a heat changing cherry blossom mug), gifts for two little girls (a rolling wooden elephant and a set of crayons shaped like animals), and of course the occasional gift for myself (a silver pineapple ring, on my last visit). The variety and affordable prices are what keep me going back- there is really something for everyone here, and unlike other shops in Geneva, Pop In will let you leave with a bit of change in your pocket. The convenient location and friendly staff, not to mention the great gift wrapping, are just added benefits that kept me coming back on the odd Saturday morning. Highly recommend!

First of all, this is the best place I have found so far to buy loose leaf tea in Nyon. You just need to ask the lady at the cash register at the back of the store for the type of tea, and amount you want and they will get the tea for you and put it into a bag. I have enjoyed the tea I have tried here so far. There are also many tea and unique non-tea related gifts to gander at here. They have a unique selection of different tea cups and sets. I have found some nice and not too pricey tea cups here for my friends as gifts. Service has always been friendly, but typically don't speak English.
