Horrific. My mother lives here and they illegally have denied her a doctor recommended ground level accommodation, which, according to the Fair Housing authority, is considered discrimination. The place is absolutely full of black mold, which causes illnesses. The entire interior of the walls and HVAC needs to be cleaned out, which they aren't doing. The black mold is so bad it's eating through the ceilings -- my finger slid through the ceiling like butter because the mold has made it so soft. My mother was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, a terminal illness that black mold can cause, and a resident on the second floor might be facing the same diagnosis. They are so neglectful of the building in general -- none of the washers or dryers work and the residents have asked for years for them to be fixed or, better yet, for new ones. The door buzzer system has been broken for months and what could be fixed in a day if they weren't so neglectful still is broken -- this puts elderly deliveries such as medications or groceries at risk of being missed. I watched someone sit for hours near the front door waiting for a grocery delivery trying to ensure she wouldn't miss it. The management comes in to apartments with absolutely no notice. They just knock and enter without notice. They've gone so far as to helping themselves to snoop in my mother's closet. They treat the residents like second-rate citizens. And management is often not available at all. This place needs a complete overhaul. read more
