Joel is the expert photographer and Amanda is the experienced event planner. Together, their desire to do good and spend time together capturing your cherished memories lead them to creating this multifaceted family owned business.

Meet the Business Owner: Joel and Amanda C.

Comstock Memories is a family owned and operated business run by husband Joel & wife Amanda. New to the Haslett / East Lansing area, the Comstocks are excited to take on new clients. Joel Comstock is the photographer for Comstock Memories. Joel studied photography at the State College of Florida through the Digital Photography degree program. He specializes in portrait and event photography. Joel's photographs capture the essence of his subjects and the scenic beauty of Michigan. We hope that viewing Joel's work will bring you as much joy as it has brought to us. With a passion for weddings, family, and helping others, Amanda uses her career experience in community engagement, event planning, marketing, and business relationship development (and her own wedding planning experience) to plan, coordiante, and manage events under the Comstock Memories umbrella. She also attends most photoshoots to assist Joel, meet clients, and help create the friendly and fun photo experience.
